Given how much the character fidelity has improved already, I'd say this one looks like it will be worth the wait. Really unique way of saying there's a delay as well, made me smile considerably.
Nothing really improved character-wise, they already have the character models at a monstrous quality beyond what consoles and most computers can take. It's just that for real-time you dial things back quite a bit, so lighting looks less realistic. But this is obviously not supposed to be an in-game interactive segment, so no need to hold back. In fact, after having played Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil, this isn't really any superior to those games.

Yeah the details and facial details/animations are incredible, she looks like she was a real person transported into a video game. The detail in her eyes/irises, hair, skin textures, facial features etc look amazing and so life like! It’s impressive how far video games have come!
You know what's odd? I've actually come to appreciate delays. It's a sign that the producers are treating their devs (and by extension, their game) with respect.

Delay is not a bad news. Like, sure, I personally might die and never see the result, but many more people will enjoy a better game, knowing that it was produced with less pressure on the dev team.

CDPR actually did delay Witcher 3 and apologize about it. I suspect CP2077 was rushed because it had already been delayed - the first concept video came out in 2011.
I've actually been really impressed by Capcom over the years. With MHW, DMC and the Resident Evil games over the years they have consistently delivered quality games since i was a kid. Just keep doing what you do Capcom.

Active development for CP2077 started in mid-2016. But yeah, having four and a half years for that thing.. maybe it was more of a mismanagement issue.
Even tho it's a delay announcement, it's amazing how much the model has changed from the first trailer! She was already cute, but right now she's absolutely gorgeous! I don't even know her name and I already love her. I can tell I'm gonna be pretty invested in this game. Take your time to make this an amazing journey!
The first trailer was released 18 months ago. The developers had tons of time to perfect the model, most noticeably her hair. They also changed the color of her eyes, from dark blue to light blue.

Knowing capcom, they likely scraped their original version and restarted “from scratch”. (I’m sure they’re still using the same assets, and some material already developed) Hell, Resident Evil 4 went through like 3 or 4 playable versions before they finally landed on the style they chose. They’ve done this for nearly every entry in that franchise. Then you look at Street Fighter. A series of games that are rereleased with tiny additions again and again. Instead of just waiting for all the ideas to come down the pike and release it. Haha I’d much prefer this then to just receive a Director’s Cut version another year later or whatever.

Yeah Pragmata was one of the few games that got announced that can’t my attention it looks so unique and different, especially compared to other AAA releases and even by Capcom standards. I was originally very surprised to find out this was a Capcom project and not somehow related to Hideo Kojima, it just looks so unique. I wanna see more but I don’t wanna rush the developers, take their time to make this game the best it can be!
God the music, and the mystery behind what kind of journey this is going to be. I have this feeling like its going to be one damn good story to journey through. I really love to see what looks like a new generation of developers at Capcom trying to make something entirely different from the RE series, something that they can be well known for, which makes me very excited. I can't wait to play it, and see what it's about, because it looks very interesting by this point.
Yeah I like how Capcom is taking risks on a new IP and new unproven developers, I’m glad they’re getting new hires to bring a fresh new perspective to this new IP. I think it’s great that Capcom is experimenting with a new IP and trying something deferent from their already established IP’s like Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter, Mega-Man, Ghosts ‘N Goblins, Dino Crisis etc. Now they have a potential new franchise with a new string of developers working on something that’s totally different from what Capcom usually makes, it definitely doesn’t feel like any Capcom game to date in terms of vibes and weirdness. Pragmata is my most hyped Capcom game!

I've actually been really impressed by Capcom over the years. With MHW, DMC and the Resident Evil games over the years they have consistently delivered quality games since i was a kid. Just keep doing what you do Capcom.

Capcom isn't a saint either, many people forget about Dark Void, many of the shit beat em ups on ps2, dead rising 4, Bionic Commando reboot, Resident Evil 6, Mega Man X7, Resident Evil Survivor, Chaos Legion, Dino Crisis 3 and much more
DMC 5 and resi 8 are two of the best games ever made.
The detail & accuracy in the skin with the realistic subsurface light... You can even see veins in the thinner skin of her eyelids. Incredible job.

Nope. First thing I thought was how great it was that they were taking this much time on a new IP. They've been hitting home run after home run with their sequels and remakes and expansions for old games. The devs at Capcom deserve to stretch their legs and flex their talents on something new.

@@RPGCrash That's a false claim, more or less. The game WAS announced in 2013, yes, but it only entered active development after the final Witcher 3 DLC was released. Active development for CP2077 started in mid-2016.
But yeah, having four and a half years for that thing.. maybe it was more of a mismanagement issue.

Even tho it's a delay announcement, it's amazing how much the model has changed from the first trailer! She was already cute, but right now she's absolutely gorgeous! I don't even know her name and I already love her. I can tell I'm gonna be pretty invested in this game. Take your time to make this an amazing journey!
The first trailer was released 18 months ago. The developers had tons of time to perfect the model, most noticeably her hair. They also changed the color of her eyes, from dark blue to light blue.

Hell, Resident Evil 4 went through like 3 or 4 playable versions before they finally landed on the style they chose.
They’ve done this for nearly every entry in that franchise.
Then you look at Street Fighter. A series of games that are rereleased with tiny additions again and again. Instead of just waiting for all the ideas to come down the pike and release it. Haha

Yeah Pragmata was one of the few games that got announced that can’t my attention it looks so unique and different, especially compared to other AAA releases and even by Capcom standards. I was originally very surprised to find out this was a Capcom project and not somehow related to Hideo Kojima, it just looks so unique. I really love to see what looks like a new generation of developers at Capcom trying to make something entirely different from the RE series, something that they can be well known for, which makes me very excited. I can't wait to play it, and see what it's about, because it looks very interesting by this point.
Yeah I like how Capcom is taking risks on a new IP and new unproven developers, I’m glad they’re getting new hires to bring a fresh new perspective to this new IP. I think it’s great that Capcom is experimenting with a new IP and trying something deferent from their already established IP’s like Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter, Mega-Man, Ghosts ‘N Goblins, Dino Crisis etc. Now they have a potential new franchise with a new string of developers working on something that’s totally different from what Capcom usually makes, it definitely doesn’t feel like any Capcom game to date in terms of vibes and weirdness. Pragmata is my most hyped Capcom game!
