  • Huge Lobsters in the BAHAMAS while Spearfishing with the Hicks family. Yes its legal to Spear Lobsters in the Bahamas and many other places and with ones this big they are just as likely to get you! Giant lobsters are an added bonus on our guided Spearfishing trips. The big ones over 10 lbs are like Sea Monsters in these big caves and grabbing them is a battle even after you’ve speared them. SUBSCRIBE for next weeks video of some of the epic spearing with Sebastian and Hanna Hicks big grouper and lobsters!

How do you know what is a big male / or female? I always find it hard to tell looking at them front on. I like to let the big girls go , esp if they are breeding.

dstick1 yea it’s really hard sometimes you can’t I usually like to poke em a bit with my spear and try to peak under their tail before I shoot

You can tell by the length of the legs and last leg tip which on a female has three claws for removing the eggs. Also the eggs are underneath the tail and they’ll usually be tending them with their last leg. Look first always before shooting
