- Hold your horses, everyone! I know that the thumbnail and title sound really controversial. Don't write your hate comments just yet. Watch until the end to see my real thoughts on the game first :)
Thanks for watching.
first time seeing someone who doesnt like re4 too, its refreshing
resident evil revelations 1 is my favorite resident evil i love it because it was my first resident evil
The remake feels like a horror game than like the original which was more like a acton game i suggest you watch under the mayos video on the remake he goes in depth to why the remake feels way more like a resident evil game its a great video i suggest you watch it ❤😀
I'll check it out! The remake was more horrory than the original yeah which was cool
Interesting video.
Glad you enjoyed it :D
You know, let everyone say what they will but RE7 was what I really wanted again to be replicated. With Re8 more action focused, and the fact remake 4 was made, I can tell capcom will make more action games. Not a bad thing, but I want that survival horror back too.
I like Re 4, and hell, Remake 1 and RE4 are my most favourite in the series, but I liked both iterations, and they seemed to be the peak of each styles. Why not just make another horror title? Might just make a CV remake for it to work maybe.
I want a slower paced RE title again. Sadly likely wont happen, but hey, we still have all those other games to replay right?
Yesss a slower one would be awesome and this whole actionification of the series is a bit sucky. But honestly I really liked Village I just hope they don't go full blown action in the next game again like RE6. CV Remake is my one wish in this world
@@mygameopinions If you want a horror game that isn't action packed I recommend Evil-within 2, it has the original Resident Evil creator involved.
@@orangeslash1667 I am actually playing through Evil Within 1 right now! Got a couple chapters left it's pretty good so far you can definitely tell that shinji mikami worked on it
@@mygameopinions Fun Fact: The reason Shinji left Capcom is because he was so upset about Capcom porting RE 4 to the Ps2.
As for Evil Within initially, Mikami had no interest in making another survival horror game but after realizing there was a demand for one, he felt compelled to respond.
@@orangeslash1667 Wow that is interesting I did not know that!
Id still class it as survival horror in my books. Yes there is more emphasis on action and firearms, but it's not like you ever have enough ammo to be comfortable. There are tense sequences where I've felt the same dread and anxiety as the originals. The garradors room, and Ashley's section are the first that comes to mind. The latter one you don't even have any weapons to fight back.
Now 5 and 6 on the other hand. Let's not talk about those.
Yep, it is still a form of survival horror and can still be scary at times. I just enjoyed the older formula for survival horror more so I was a bit let down.
Haha yep at least 5 and 6 are somewhat fun if you can play with a friend.
One can get to the Island with more than 1000 handgun rounds if you play your cards right.
Nahhhh bruh there's no fucking way this balls to the wall action game is a survival horror.
@@ginge641 try playing on hardcore or professional and tell me that again.
@@Garcia1995 I ended up with a 1000+ rounds of assorted ammunition in my latest run of Silent Hill 2. A true survival horror game.
My first run of RE4 remake I barely had any ammo left by the final boss.
The main reason I don't love the OG game as well is because it feels so long and with some filler hours. In the other hand, the remake still the same length but has a better passing in my opinion, and that's why loved the remake :)
True the first game is like reallyyyyy long for a resident evil game. But the fast pace kinda makes it seem like there's no downtime, full throttle action mayhem
I like both sides of resident evil, I just wished 2 and 3 got the faithful re1 style remakes they deserved and left re4 alone.
Left RE4 alone? Hell no, the remake is great.
My feelings for the remake are as the same as the original; good but not the masterpiece everyone makes it out to be.
Exactly 👍👍👍
what is masterpiece than? tell me grandpa, please enlighten me, bestow upon me your everlasting wisdom!
@butterr that's a fucking rude comment that mostly comes from a bratty incel with too much time on his hands and cries over little opinions involving video games. I'm not even gonna answer your question. Go get laid or something.
Damn if resident evil 4 isn't a masterpiece then I don't know what game could be then
