Great video! Have you considered checking out this indie game called "hollow knight"?
I love that game it's so underrated!! It's right next to my other favourite underrated indie gems: Celeste, Outer Wilds, and Minecraft!
might check it out... *tomorrow*
@@mygameopinionsI found a pretty underrated gem of an indie game recently. I think it’s called Undertale? It’s pretty good.
@@Bofrabman I loved that game! You ever heard of a game called Cuphead? It’s pretty underrated and I think it’s one of the more unknown indie gems
this was a really well made video, ill be sure to check these out!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy them
Lonely Planet has been in my steam library since i won it in a random giveaway in 2016 and i havent touched it at all. I'll have to try and change that! In fact, all the games that you spoke about look fascinating. I appreciate the way you talk about games because you often highlight ways that a title uses the medium of games to convey a message in a way no other type of media can.
Thanks DJ Dinklebonk! Yeah you gotta try out lovely planet it's dope as hell and if you like it then definitely play neon white.
Great video! A bit scared of putting too many of these on my list, because the list is already very long
Haha its the age old problem for gamers...
This is a quality video about what seem to be quality games. Thanks for actually finding some hidden gems for us. Can't wait for the next vid
Thanks for the kind comment :D
Awesome video! I loved your breakdown on these games and there were some gems I hadn’t heard of like lovely planet that I’ll definitely be checking out 👀
You have a very cosy voice, loved the videoo
Wowww thank you that's so nice :D glad you liked the video
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Bro this mans videos are so underrated you deserve more than 7.57k
Thanks bro :)
no problem bro@@mygameopinions
by any chance do you have discord?@@mygameopinions
My underrated indie gem I found recently I’d like to mention is Horizon’s Gate. Horizon’s Gate is a top down open world tactical RPG where you sail the open seas. Throughout the game you can trade goods to ports for money, recruit a crew of customizable sailors with 37 different classes (all of which having their own awesome abilities, plus equitable passives that you can use even if you aren’t using the class you got it from anymore), build up a fleet with your crew to pillage other ships with ship combat (or if you don’t like that you can board the enemy’s ships and fight the crew manning the ship instead) find unique dungeons with some pretty cool loot, and a scanning mechanic that adds some interesting world-building.
I found this game like a year ago and bought it, then didn’t play it until this summer, then it sucked me in and it was one of the only games I played for a couple weeks. Highly recommend.
You make really cool and interesting videos!
Funny enough, I've been listening to Lovely Planet ost for a long time but never seen gameplay of it. It sure looks colorful 😂
Thanks for the support! Yeah it oddly looks just like it sounds
Aaaaannnddd safed for later, thank u
No problem :D
Have you played Crosscode? Whilst not as unknown as the games in this video, it's by far one of my favourite games, it combines fun exploration in beautiful landscapes full of puzzles along with a deep, customizable combat system, a compelling story, and impeccable boss fights.
I've heard about it from Razbuten's videos but I've never played. Sounds good I might check it out
@@mygameopinions Def do, it's stunning
Now I want to play Lunistice it looks so cute
It is so cute
Thank you for this, I've been looking for more games to try 😲😲😲
Hope you enjoy them :)
@@mygameopinions will definitely do 😁😁
MyGameOpinions Sir, was this video also posted at the same place where you post on twitter (starfield)?
Yes I posted this video from my dream home on Nesoi! A sleeping bag and a monitor on the floor is all I need
Lovely Planet is good, but “Lovely Planet 2: April Skies” is incredible
There's this really obscure 12 year old mobile indie game called wimp who stole my pants? and it's a shame not a lot of people know about it, the graphics, gameplay mechanics, level design, music and sound design are amazing! It got ported to steam back in 2015 and it only has 4 reviews.
Thanks for the recommendations, for my recommendation it'd be Demon Turf
I'm a big platformer guy, and this is undoubtedly one of the best platformers I've ever played with gorgeous & unique art direction
Only has a few hundred steam reviews as I'm writing this but it's gotten a bit more coverage the last year, it deserves more though in my opinion.
I had a blast and even 100%d it, something I rarely do.
Tip: I think the video could be shorter, don't be afraid to cut things out, I make videos too and I know it feels bad but it's for the sake of making it better.
Conclusion: This is an excellent video, good idea executed well, but sometimes feels a bit dragged out, for 6 games 19 minutes is long for an essay video, although it did not feel exhausting or I was never bored, i just think it could benefit from being like 30% shorter and with more games.
another underrated indie game is togges it was an open world 3d puzzle platformer it was not perfect at launch but it became a lot better and it is very ambitious, takes inspiration from katamari as well.
Different strokes I suppose, none of these really jumped out at me besides the platformers, but I'm glad these games are getting a spotlight. I can't really buy a game where I'm just watching clips, too close to a visual novel for my liking.
ur voice is sooo cute
Thank you! I'm glad you like the videos :)
I think the best underrated indie game is Patch Quest. I can highly recommend playing it!
Have you heard of a lil game called “Lil Robot Game”?
It’s really a lovely little game on itch
I made it lol
My game 😔
What game is at 0:18 ???
Thirty Flights of Loving
Immortality is not even a game. Donkey.
Animal Crossing is sooo good tho
