Wow sorry if this question is out of ignorance, but how come you're still on uniform as an intern? Is internship after graduation or before graduation?
Medical clerkship is a one year internship done in final year medical school in Philippines. It’s different from post graduate internship or housemanship as it’s called in Nigeria. So technically, we are still students. Hence, the uniform. It’s ok, hope this clarifies your question ❤️
Because we were colonized by Americans for quiet some time... Then eventually it became a standard of beauty. White/fair skin = beautiful. But not all have that kind of mindset. I love my skin color, brown.🇵🇭

How was your experience witnessing the birth of a life?
All I can say is that God is great and I respect every mother. The joy you see on their faces after the delivery is priceless
Why whitening soaps and cream? But they are not dark skinned.... It's kinda shocking to see
I guess some want to be whiter. I was surprised too
