  • How To Make A Line Follower Robot using Arduino With PID Controller, Arduino tutorial, QTR sensor, and L298N Motor Driver Module. Line Follower Robot autonomously follows 90 degrees turns with great precision.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PID Controlled Line-Following Robot is designed to follow a predetermined path. The Robot autonomously follows the black line on the white surface. The position of the robot is determined using QTR Sensor Array. Then the error is calculated and compared with the reference value which is given as feedback to the PID controller which adjusts the motor speeds so that the robot follows the line smoothly.

    Components:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Robot uses the following components,
    ►Arduino UNO R3
    ►QTR-8RC Sensor Array
    ►L298n Motor Driver
    ►2 x DC Motors
    ►2 Wheel Robot Chasis
    ►Roller Caster Ball
    ►12 Volt Battery

    PID Tuning:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The PID Controller involves three constants,
►Kp is the proportional gain, a tuning parameter
►Ki is the integral gain, a tuning parameter
►Kd is the derivative gain, a tuning parameter
These constants must be tuned to get minimum oscillations as shown in the video at 3:22

    Applications:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are multiple applications of this project such as,
    ►Automobiles (Self Driven Cars)
    ►Industrial Robots
    ►Floor Cleaning Robot etc.
