Thanks for the great video - excellent information and just the right amount of detail. Agree with your points about the gear controller, completely unacceptable (I have 3 of these big BH jets, and it was a roll of the dice every time I selected gear down. Shame BH is still using these.) I use the Xicoy gear controller and it works flawlessly. Hopefully will maiden mine this weekend. Cheers.
How to take the correct dimensions, choose the correct weight and airfoil, conduct a stress analysis, and choose span and rips as well. Thank you To make a miniature model
Can you explain how you installed retract controller? My brand new l-39 door sequencer fried. 3 servos during build process, I didn’t notice servos bec was at 7.4 volts I swapped to 6v and I can get servos to not fry now but wanting an all in one unit
How many amps is your system pulling. Mine with the JP Hobby setup on the v2 PNP only pulls 99-103 amps when it should be closer to 130 amps. Not sure if changing to a JP 150amp esc over the Hobbywing Flyfun ESC will make a difference.

Nice rc plane, buddy
Good afternoon first of all thanks for the vid video. It was very helpful but I have another question. Did you do the CG with the gear up or down?
Gear down. CG should be measured with the plane in landing configuration.
Have you been building any planes
Yes, currently working on a TopRC P-51 composite model. Will be electric powered
