Nice to see the 89 race being brought up and seeing the reason why Senna took out Prost on purpose in 90. The 98-00 seasons were decided at Suzuka as well.
Really cool series! I love Suzuka. Such an iconic track with so much history. Was it last year or the year before where it was an absolute monsoon with so much rain? I like how you include memorable events of the past of the track. This was brilliant and enjoyable as heck to watch. Look forward to the China episode!

Great video as always! Your 1st fast lap was sooo quick! Can't imagine sim racing with these gen of cars... the margin between cars must be so small since every lap looks just perfect.

Hi Sarah! Love the preview, looking forward to these every race. Can I just say, that fast lap of yours was realllyyy good! I ran Suzuka for years in Gran Turismo Sport every day in a Honda NSX on sports tyres. Different game, different performance levels. But Suzuka has so many places where you need to combine finesse, aggression, speed and position. You can win or lose tens to full seconds by any of these. And you nailed every part: entry after pit straight, S’es, hairpin, spoon, chicane.. ggwp!!

My brain is CONSTANTLY trying to figure out: What Am I Seeing??? I WISH F1TV would ALWAYS have the turn number graphic in the lower right. Your videos help me start to learn the track surroundings throughout the circuit. It would be even better for me if your videos complemented your zoomed in layout graphic in the upper left with a full circuit graphic in the upper right. Thanks again for one of the first shows I watch each round.

Love Suzuka, my favourite track is probably Spa, just a classic track with so many different challenges, and of course Radillon and Eau Rouge. Podium for this weekend, Max, Lando, Oscar.
Nice to meet you Sarah... All the tracks are fascinating. I have been watching F1 for just ovef 35 years! Desperately used to get up on Sat/Sun to watch qualifying & race on ESPN Speedworld! Pre-season I always look at every track to see what's ahead. I must say any track designed by Tilka, are not my favorites at all. Blind corners are such a terrible an idea. Also paying tribute to pilots that have went to heaven is most admirable. I went to my home country Grand Prix in 2000 at Indianapolis. I wonder how much it would cost $ to fly to every track and have average seats to be able to attend? Wouldn't that be great? I can dream😂. I don't think you need any background music as you speak, my opinion. Unfortunately there have been motorsports deaths in all forms. Some I know of as a fan. Indycar: Scott Brayton, Gregg Moore. NHRA: Blaine Johnson, Scott Kalitta. Nascar: Adam Petty, Dale Earnhardt. Formula 1: Roland Ratzenberger, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher. And seriously wounded Alex Zanardi. I know for sure Senna would love Your racing spirit Sarah!!!💜🏎
Hi! So sorry I thought I responded 😔 I do love all the tracks! Every single one is unique and different and they all have their own soul. Also used to getting up early for races. The 2024 season started well for US fans though, all races at night! haha Thank you for watching and for the kind comment. It would be amazing to be able to attend every race at least once. Yes motorsports are so dangerous unfortunately.. and this is why I have so much respect for each and all of the drivers. I am thankful for all the improvements made over the years, but there are still too many injuries and deaths. But we will always remember them and carry them in our hearts 💕
Chinese track is a week away. Sarah do you enjoy setting fastest lap for each track? When you hit all of your marks, get your turn apex just right, it flows so perfectly, it feels tremendous. You can go back and "see" where you can improve. And then set a new lap time! But there are times when you just get it wrong, or up over the curb...and into the sand trap, oh well. In a race there's the ever present back-markers to steer around. Not to mention wet conditions. A great driver knows how and when to tip-toe through those difficult spots, then accelerate while fish-tailing the back end. History shows alot of ex-formula one drivers go straight to Endurance Racing at Le Mans. Jacky Ickx for example. What do you think about Andretti team trying to get on the grid? As well as F1 Academy, F2,F3, series for MORE female drivers (they are coming, and very competitive)! Take Care...Keep Racing...🍀
That Kobayashi race was really fun to watch......he was a Beast! The Japanese GP is one of my favorite tracks and it brought me a lot of joy over the many years watching F1, which is quite a few....Lol! Alonso penalty was total BS, the Mercedes was crap and pushed all weekend when pushed hard, like Russell was hunting down Alonso. He caught Alonso but then Alonso turned up the wick and was leaving Russell to push harder, seems his car pushed even harder....

130R got it's name (or engineering notation if you want) from the metric radius, a circle with a radius of 130 meters would have the same shape / tightness of the corner. 130 degrees would describe an angle the turn does, which is a lot less in 130R. 1 - Charles 2 - Max 3 - Carlos The Ferrari upgrades will help them here, but Max is going to be out for revenge, and will drive the Red Bull to a higher position than it probably would in any other driver's hands.
In total honestly, maybe a little bit. But I wouldn't use the word "lack" though, because at most people's skills level (me first), it is more than enough. They made it very fun and entertaining, and that is all I would expect from an F1 game ;)

In total honestly, maybe a little bit. But I wouldn't use the word "lack" though, because at most people's skills level (me first), it is more than enough. They made it very fun and entertaining, and that is all I would expect from an F1 game ;)
