    👏👍💯One of the best shaft testing videos on RUclips. Clear and easy to understand information both visual/audio to who are watching this.

    I tested the TSR 2&3 3 wood extensively over the last week.
    With the 1k black getting over 3500 spin, I switched to the Hzrdous and the spin dropped to 2500 spin.
    All 70g, X flex

    if you like the Red TR or the Fuji Blue, you should really hit the HZRDUS Blue PVD. Same balanced profile with amazing launch characteristics.

    TR Red stock for TM is a watered down, ventus name only, non-velocore version. Can you actually do the comparison between non-velo tr red and velo tr red? Let's do it with the same 5s shafts.

    Funny that there was an ad for Acura in the middle of this video where they used music by Jimi Hendrix. And here’s the other weird thing. In 2023, we can still listen to music from 60 years ago playing on the radio as we drive our vehicles. But in 1960, how many of us were listening to music from 1900. So don’t feel too bad, Drew. We should all stay current. I doubt there are many golfers still using equipment from the 1960s!

    I would actually like to know the spin range for this head - toe vs heel vs middle as I dont want 3000 spin when I choose to hit a cut and sub 2000 when I err on the toe side for a draw.
    Nice to know what is supposed to be the higher spinning head isnt that high spin. 2300-2400 is great

    Great video Drew and Kevin. Have you identified the issue with Stealth 2? It can spin too much even when you centre the face? Is that why Rory and Colin M are reluctant to use the new model? I have the original Stealth and have been considering the change. Not sure if there are any performance benefits in switching to the new model. Scotty S then goes and wins the players championship with the new model. I guess a fitting is only way to find out?

      @davidknight6250 Год назад +1

      I’ve been considering the same move. I do this most years. However, the comparison reviews suggest there’s no real gain from Stealth to Stealth 2. Tempted instead to look at Paradym and G430 instead

    • @richardskinner5050
      @richardskinner5050 Год назад +1

      @@davidknight6250 I am with you David. I actually hit my Stealth great at the weekend. For the first time in 5 years I have not rushed out and purchased the latest TM driver. I hit the Callaway Paradym and it was meh. I have never been a fan of Ping, however, all reviews are stating how forgiving it is. The TSR2/3 look interesting and feel great off the face. I might stick with what I have until I have time to go to specialist fitter who has all of the shafts and head combinations.

    • @davidknight6250
      @davidknight6250 Год назад

      @@richardskinner5050 I get the feeling that the Stealth is not very forgiving. Shots can be great or awful with not much in between. I didn’t get on great with Sim either. It was so bad, I ended up swapping it for a Callaway Epic Speed, but decided to give Stealth a go last year, mainly because it looks amazing and my fitting went really well.

    I tried a bunch of 60 -70 gram stiff shafts as well as a few reg flex shafts.. and nothing performed better than the Kai Li red 60 S for me.. I paired the shaft with stealth2 HD and traded my F9 in against it.. I swear i'm getting 40 yrds more cause my last shaft was too stiff and had no launch.. I'm excited

  • @jlwebbgolf

    The issue with HZ 4G & Kali white is DYNAMIC LOFT. More loft equals more spin, higher land angles & higher launch
    Why? less vertical face rotation.

    Stealth 2 plus with the Diamana S+ and love it. I have such a high launch, have mine turned down to 7 degrees and spin has been perfect and distance, even on miss hits, is 320+. I had a 13 year old stock Callaway driver and was losing so much distance because of launch and spin and when getting fitted this was the best combo for me. It truly is an amazing club. Can't wait for it to get warm and get it out on the course.

    The ventus TR red is not the one with velocore. Velocore is what makes the real one so good. If I could only swing at 107 like Kevin, then this test would be more relevant to me. Anyway, Drew how could you not have heard of Jimmy Hendrix? Have you ever heard of woodstock? I must be getting real old too Kevin.

    • @ImGdiddy
      @ImGdiddy 10 месяцев назад

      As I understand it, the Taylormade proprietary shafts are not the same as the shaft manufacturer’s OEM offerings. They do not have the velocore and are made with lower quality materials in order to meet he club manufacturer’s price point requirements. True?

    I jist pulled the Kai li white out of my Paradym X, and put a $48 Integra, regular flex, 50 gram shaft in and hit the ball longer and more consistent. Go figure. Doesn't mean the Kai Li isn't a good shaft. It just wasn't good for me. My swing speed is only 101 mph on average.

    I just visited a different fitter this weekend and he told me to bend all my stealth irons weak because they aren't spinning enough because of the way they are built. What s drag to buy $1000 clubs from Dick's sporting goods and then have to buy a $400 bender. 👎

    • @2ndswing

      Not cool. At 2nd Swing, if you purchase clubs from us, we will make any follow up adjustments necessary for free! So, for example, if you get a new set of irons and realize after a few rounds you have a constant right miss, we can do a follow up fitting and adjust the lie angle accordingly for free.
