Great reaction. The former bassist is Miho who's making her own way now, and the bassist in this video is the new bassist Fami. Miho is a phenomenal bassist, a female Steve Harris, and it is a miracle that they could find a perfect bassist replacing such a great bassist as Miho.
In this song there is a tribute to an English punk band The Explosion with the title of one their song: "Die by my Side"!
Fami is in the amazing releases coming from Live Knocking at Heavens Gate parts I and II.

LOVEBITES. They are listened not only by metalheads. Ladies came out of their metal genre and have wider spectrum of fans.
They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal,hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces and even punk. They mix all with classical music using operatic, R&B, soul and gospel skills of vocalist and grand piano and Spanish guitar skills playing. Sometimes they use typical Japanese melodic lines which are included in ENKAs_ melancholy ballads singing by Japanese women. Only their can do it. Obviously they draw a lot from British, German and American metal. All this makes their style unique.

Putting one leg up on a monitor or platform is a standard guitar playing pose used by many metal bands. Although, for LOVEBITES, they also use the platforms to stand upon because the tallest member in the band (Fami) is just 5'2" tall. Because they are all so short they want to be seen better by those in the rear of the concert hall.
I think Fami is a little bit over 5'5". The same height as Miyako.

Your smile almost matched Fami, the bass player. Out of the sections of live shows where she has played, that I have seen, she smiles a lot. Miho, the former bass player, didn't smile as much but she would take a deep wide stance and head bang at every opportunity. Two very talented and beautiful bass players but very different on stage.
In this performance, Miyako personifies her Ice Princess persona, during her solo.

@@coachmichael1015 I can't claim that name, it appeared on a channel a few years back. Haruna the drummer, is known as The Little Big Engine. I believe she is 4' 10 or 9, a little shorter than Asami, lead vocal.

@@rainerzufall42unless you're Gacharic Spin, who went all the way to Houston for an anime convention. But this concert was put up just a few weeks before, so probably very hard to organise a tour in such short time.
No doubt that Lovebites will tour the US. Just progpower who were early with their booking. Though no very big names, there's a lot of credibility.

What I find most wonderful about this song is the passage of time from Midori's dynamic solo to Miyako's static solo.
However, 90% of reactors execute a pause at this timing. It's a shame for me, but maybe it can't be helped. hahaha.
