I don't agree with the general's opinion on the Agniveer scheme. We are giving the society trained men. We are giving other services trained men. And this scheme has been implemented after being discussed with senior army officers like him.

The Agniveer scheme seems a good alternative but it needs to be changed slightly. Make the Agniveer scheme compulsory for all central government jobs , especially in the IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, Customs and Excise as well as the Central Armed Police Forces like CRP, ITBP, BSF, Assam Rifles etc. Also one year in the scheme should be compulsory for all those seeking government jobs in centrally aided universities like JNU, AMU etc. One good side effect of this implementation would be that those who keep trying for years to clear the UPSC exams and having cleared them devote the rest of their life to gathering crores will largely get eliminated
One thing I would like to add here and want to say after listening the beautiful conversation of Gen GD Bakshi sir. The Army 🪖 should be untouched Modernization is fine with the time period but As General Sahab said we need Integrated manpower resources and best men in Army for the solution and different geographical challenges. Tour of duty jaisi scheme bhi Indian armed forces me honi chahiye. Agniveer scheme ko armed forces aur sarkar ko milke sudharna chahiye. Agniveer ko reservation hona chahiye baaki ki para military forces me jo ki major gaurav ne kaha tha aur wo sujhav muje bahut logical laga.
