I came back to this video, and so inspiring I decided to make a stuffed pocket board for my mum with various ways to stuff the pocket/envelope. Always find inspiration form you Jamie, thank you!!
I hope she just loved that so much! And glad there is content here for you to draw from. Intrigued by 'various ways to stuff the pocket'. Thank you so much for sharing, Katie! Very encouraging.
Wow! Thank you so much. This was such a fun project. Need to make another one. You on Instagram? Tag me up when you get your goods and make the pretty. @jamiepate
As always, love it. Love the way you’ve layered and added texture. When I do it it’s a hot mess. I did giggle at the word “channel,” my mind was looking for the correct word for you and here I was shouting out to you, “gusset, gusset!” Friends moment, “Pivot!! “ Thank you so much Jamie. I look forward to your tutorials every week. ❤️
@@JamiePate Totally appreciate the multitasking element. I’ve not recorded a tutorial for an age. When the tongue gets tied or the brain ceases to find words so that the mouth can engage, Blah, Blah Blah Blah!!! You get me? I really enjoy your tutorials, love Heidi’s products. Thank you for your inspiration. 😜❤️
Good question! The photos are about 2 1/2-inches tall by 3 1/2-inches high. I print at home. But I have printed at Persnickety and really like their quality.
Just found your channel while looking for a tutorial on stuffed envelopes. Great tutorial! What were you doing to the edges of some of the tags with the tool (?). Very new to paper crafting, so I don’t know very many techniques. Thanks!!
Well hello, and welcome!!! I am using a Silhouette spatula, do not think it's available anymore, and distressing the edges of the paper. I just like the paper to have a pulled up sort of frayed look. Not too much. Just don't want my papers looking flat on a project, if that makes sense. Welcome to paper crafting. I hope you find much joy in it. And ask away.
I love this idea so much that I made one! But I’m having trouble coming up with ideas on how to bind it into my Storyline Chapters book. I’m afraid washi won’t be strong enough to hold the page in. It’s pretty dense. Any helpful suggestions?
Oh I love that for in you Storyline Chapters. I should try that! Maybe Magic Tape? It is just a regular tape. But it sort of has this vellum sheen. Do you know what I am talking about?
@@JamiePate Yes - Magic Tape! I do know what you're talking about. I think I might use packing tape? (as I even type this, I'm a little iffy on it). I used it on something else and I think it's sturdy enough and wide enough for this loaded pocket. I guess I could try and if it fails, then I'll know!

Cuteness and so are the papers 😍
This was such a fun make. And thank you! Hope you will now try it.
I love it!!!
I’m not one for big contrasts either. I think that’s why I love your work! Beautiful detail but all blends well 💖
Thanks, Kate. You are kind.
Love it!
So glad! Thank you!
Absolutely adorable ♥️
Have you started making yet??? Ha ha. Sorry. I had to ask...LOL 😄
I wish!! But I will...and when I do - I will tag you on Instagram!!
I love this Jamie!
I'm that glad. Hope you are inspired and make too!
Very cute!
Thanks!
Love it! So much in so little space.
Right? It certainly packs a whole lot.
Oh I love this! I can so see using this in a Chapters book. Thanks for sharing Jamie! 😊

baahaa....There's so much pressure to the making and the talking at the same time!!! I'm glad you get my vibe though. It's all so much fun!!!

How hard or soft is the sandpaper? You can also use double foam tape for making the pockets.
Hey there...the sandpaper is fairly stiff. I have to go easy with it or it will distress a bit too much on the distress end.
