Very sad. This issues plagues many private institute. Instead of hiring 10 , they hire 6-7 and then the employees are overworked. Why not have compulsory weekends ? Annual working days should not be more than 250. I have been through this that due to lack of sleep, I started throwing up and became weak.
There should be a complete investigation into the working conditions in corporates and other private organisations in the country. It looks like little attention is paid to the health and other factors concerning employees working in these companies. Not just working conditions, even things like transport, hours of work and making employers responsible when such incidents take place, are very important
Nobody should be allowed more than 8.30 hrs.and 2 days holidays should be given. It should be strictly followed. Surprise checks should be done. Now what is the use of the company apology. Will it bring their daughter back.
I'm an engineer working in an Indian MNC company. I worked in India for many years in the same company and now moved abroad to work in a European onsite project. I feel like in heaven now while delivering much better and quality output than I was in India. The only difference is the absence of Indian management 😂. Now some Indian guys started getting into management roles here and now slowly I'm able to get the back home feeling now 😢. Stress started going up for no reason 😂😢.
This is a problem in most companies. People fear losing their jobs. Hence they take risks. Really sad to see this child pay the ultimate price. Work is for supporting your life, not the other way round.

Where is the Work Culture ? Where is the Labour Laws & where is the Human Rights ? How a senior is supposed to do grooming of his subordinates or the new comers is not the part of the Company ? There should be a regulatory body within the system to solve such problems and to do Counseling in genuine cases. I want to comment on this. In India we assume that the employee or employer who work much more hours in Office i.e. govt. sector or private sector is more efficient than others. In private sector they harass employee like a slaves. We here understand that employee are not a machine but he/she is human being. He/she require time for family, friends and relatives which cause reduces his/her tension and result in upliftment in his/her performance at work place. But unfortunately our labour laws are only on papers they are not strictly implement like Europe countries or developed western countries which result in employee suicide. I hope the unfortunate incident cause for govt. intervention on labour policy. This is my opinion please comment on this.

Its kerala where for govt jobs people pay Rs 30- 40 lakhs under table Then u get ur pay mostly on time. Saturday; sundays off and after 5pm usually free but u may have to join some ruling party procession which will end with refreshments or dinner. Maybe for few private cos in kerala also this is the case. But if u join a big company where u dont pay any money to secure a job; where u get 2.5 x normal salary then work load will be heavy. Also ones health should be super - no congenital heart disease etc. Anyone who has worked in pvt sector has faced times when one goes to bed in same working clothes. This is how private sector treats u as opposed to govt job in states where no work culture . So many keralite males work in Saudi; Dubai, Bahrain etc. Can one complain work too demanding ?! And should indian labor department monitor work allocated to junior employees on daily basis ??
