I am driving a Permobil F5 right now and I guess I am already pushing it to its limits but I've got to say your video is the most impressive I've seen on RUclips so far and it definitely gives me the will to get a X8 right now to be able to go on moving and expanding boundaries.
I've been thinking about the X8 since I've been visiting Thailand ; I was looking at the beach with no way to go on the sand and get close to the sea... I'm looking forward to go back with the X8 to enjoy the country even more!

I love my X8. Had it 12 years now and runs like new. I get through some tyres but that's a small price to pay for the freedom. Great video.
It's great to hear from a fellow X8 fan. Very true; tires are replacable. Time and experiences priceless and must be lived while the good Lord allows. Keep those wheels turning and memories rolling. The X8 definitely helps with quality of life and independance.
AWESSOME!!!!!! Having a spotter behind me helps a TON! I have a Magic Mobility Frontier V6 and it is AMAZING! Once you do get comfortable with the capabilities of your MM chair there will be less need for the spotter. You guys are doing an awesome job of getting the most out of your chair! Well done!!

I have the Observer 4x4 Wheelchair, and chairs like this change our lives, they enable us to access all the area that most other people can too, way to go and hope you enjoy your chairs.
I have this same chair but never had a spotter but I never took it to the places you have gone to. Looking good!!!

This is a death trap! One mistake by the spotter would result in injury to both people.

If you want to go these places, get a step-through ATV.
The way the equipment is used doesn’t warrant labeling the equipment as “a death trap”. One might make this same analogy to using a motorcycle, atv, or race car if they were driven in a manner that some may label as dangerous, but what some label as dangerous others label as exhilarating and exciting. Each user must establish their own level of operational ability and confidence prior to any attempt for use that may exceed manufacturers tested limitations. The wheelchair equipment by design is very safe and extremely reliable. The use in this video exceeds manufacturers recommended safe operational limitations. This simply illustrates these 4x4 chairs can and do enable people that have no ability to walk to get outdoors and enjoy outdoor lifestyle experiences. The spotter was and should be highly experienced in navigating off road terrain using similar precautions as using any off road vehicle. Also, many areas restrict use of atvs, but will allow handicap motorized chairs as the means of mobility for handicap users. In these areas the Magic Mobility Extreme X8 4x4 wheelchair is a great option as their power, transportability, and performance exceeds most people’s needs and expectations.

He was not just a "Spotter"; without his pushing the 'chair would've never made it. This chair may have great mobility but this video doesn't show it.
Hey trike rider. Always wanted to ride a Honda Gold Wing trike. Welcome and thank you for the feedback. Everyone's comments are honored. The X8 isn't the best suited hill climber, but it sure beats most power chairs in this category,; but don't underestimate the X8 4x4 chairs. Very powerful and small enough to ride both indoors and outdoors. Safety is the main reason for the spotter; to prevent a roll over and possible further injury. This particular incline did exceed the recommended climbing angle, so it needed a push to keep the front wheels down to prevent it from tipping over backward. These chairs are pretty impressive with their capabilities, but with all things there are limitations and comfortable allowances. The chair possibly could've made it without a spotter or a push, but it just isn't worth the risk. Hope all viewers understand. Also, the point of this video and others posted is not so much to highlight the capabilities of the chair as it is to highlight the opportunities that God has allowed in conjunction with the use of this chair, but bare in mind it isn't merely a mode of transportation to this lil energetic guy; it's a life changer of freedom and independence. The main source of power though is a God given drive in his spirit and heart is what keeps him going. The videos are shared so others that don't have natural physical abilities to walk and roam freely on foot across Gods great outdoors can view and hopefully be challenged, encouraged, and / or inspired to keep on going and get out there in the fresh air from time to time. I wonder what is millage/full charge compare to V6 frontier?
Both X8 & V6 have estimated range of 16-22 miles but that varies depending on terrain and load on the motors due to rider and cargo.
are you saying that x8 has more amp/hr. than v6? 4 motors use more amps that 2 motors...
Agree 4 motors will require more power than 2 but I'm no electrician not sure how they are rated just saw on an advertisement they were rated for 16-22 mile range. I do know X8 batteries are large and heavy which makes the unit more stable and may store more power reserve to add to the distance range. Just saying they run plenty long enough to last all day on outings. Haven't ran out of power yet with routine charging. We charge batteries each night after use.
Does it go up stairs
It’s not designed to go up/down stairs. We have taken it on small steps though with spotters in front and in back to catch him if he was to turn over. It spins on them some too. So far no accidents.
This is not safe at all if you’re by yourself
