I am a strong visual learner and I am not interested in reading the manual. Thanks for doing this, it gave me an understanding on the chain tension and the bar lock.
Thank you so much for that demo! With your help, I finally got the chain back on so I could trim my trees. You were so thorough and I especially appreciate the way you zoomed in closer so I could see what I needed to do. You are a good man! :)
Brother Issac, Man thank you so much for doing this easy to follow demonstration on how to put the chain on the chain saw. I just bought this model from home depot and put everything together and started cutting tree limbs. The chain saw, saw came off. I got very nervous and started to research online on how to fix it. I came across your video and was so excited!! After playing your video a few times I was able to put the chain back on! Thank so much!!
I bought the same kind of chainsaw online and it doesn't say anything about how to assemble it in the manual. What you show is exactly what I thought should be done. However, since I have never used a chainsaw before, I was not sure if I am right and hesitate to do it for the safety reasons. You video assured me of this. Thanks you! BTW, I contacted Homelite for the questions but the guy was not patient at all to help me. Indeed, you deserve his salary!
When our Homelite. Bain saw fell apart because the cover screw was loose, I could not figure out how to put it back together. This video saved the day for me - thanks so much!
Thank you so much. The enclosed directions were incomplete, but looking at the video, and even stopping it to get a closer look finally got it assembled!
Thanks buddy i couldn't have done it without your instructions, the operation book doesn't say anything about assembling the bar and chain, thanx again and happy chainsawing.
Isaac! Thank You So Much! I Wasted About An Hour And A Half Being Soooooo Pissed Off, That I Finally Had The Thought Of Going On RUclips, And Finding Someone Who Could Explain This To Me. After 5 Unless Videos, #Six Got It Right! You Have A Slightly Different Model Than I Have, But It Still Worked In One Try! In The Dark. With My Phone Light, And Your Voice To Guide Me. Thank You So Much Again. Please Make More Videos! About Anything! I Will Watch Them All!!!
Thank you, Isaac, for this video. You have given an excellent presentation. Just what I was looking for, putting together my new Homelite. One thing, what I learned watching other videos - that chain holder is not a blade. It's called a Bar.
Thank you very much Your video helped me a lot. Really very good your explanation, the printed manual dont cover this topic. Sincerely, thankyou very much
Thankyou. 2 extra pieces of information. 1. Make sure you unplug the chain saw before messing with it. 2. If gear and washer falls out .... make sure washer is underneath and gear's washerlike flat side is on the outside.
thank you very much, your video helped me to fix the chain tension correctly. It is a subtle but critical step, was stuck for a while before seeing your video..
I have a rod that goes some where that was bent when i was sawing, and i didn't see this in your video.....about eight or ten inches long. I have NO idea where it goes.
Hey, make sure that chain is not TOO tight. Should be able to rotate by gloved hand without a lot of effort. And of course don't forget the oil. You might also make sure it is actually using oil and lubricating the chain and bar. I had one brand that stopped doing that and the chain rapidly dulled. Usually, they use oil pretty quickly under normal operation.
Thanks for the video! I dont remember how the fuck my bar and chain got seperated from the motor but its sitting in the garage and I havent needed it so havent fucked with it. I think i'll tinker around with it tomorrow.
Hey man do u know how to remove or change the plastic gear inside? I think this rubbish electric saw, i just cut onli 3 branch of a tree and the chain cannot cut any more so I bought a new chain after 4 cuts the cannot rotate any more, I open it and I saw the plastic gear Broken, my problem is how to remove and change. This kind of electric chain saw is junk rubbish garbage. Not even 2days use waste money
@@Asoville18 thanks for replying but i did remove it already. This is a junk kind of chainsaw most of it are plastic parts and easily broken and the price of the parts are expensive im comparing the price of the parts and the new one ild rather buy new one so I order the craftmen hope this one is good , I read some reviews about the home lite more bad reviews. I used onli 2times this crazy home lite and BOOM BROKEN it is really a junk one I didn’t finish yet my project and broken already
