My prayer today is for God to help us out of our chaos and hatred, to make truth reign in our nation, and that people will come together for the betterment of all. We have been blessed in spite of our faults and failures. Call upon the Lord for mercy in turning from our hatred.
Good morning everyone. . I'm the person that in different times on the comments from different videos of pastor Lucado asked for prayers when I was devastated with PTSD after seeing my husband committ suicide due physical pain and withdrawal for different drugs; and the one that was thinking in committed suicide as well for all this struggles. ... but everyone around my life was right. God never left me alone and today is a new different day for me. GOD healed my whole life spiritual, menthal and physical. There are times that I am still crying which I learn that is completely normal or some other struggles in my life but I can feel our God's peace and I know now (because suffering is not an easy procees) that God never abandoned me in any time and God still has me in his hands. Now I am ready to go back and be active at church.
Please pray for restoration of my family, the health of my two daughters and of their four boys. Also, one of my daughters is in an abusive relationship which for several reasons she can’t get out of right now. Desperately needing God to move! I know that what the enemy meant for evil God will turn it around and bring good in our lives! Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏

I needed to hear what you said today, Max! I’d asked for prayers regarding my Dad early last month. Father answered by taking him home. Now, I need to find a new place to live and it’s proving frustrating and difficult. The places are all very expensive. The ones I can afford, in questionable neighborhoods. Senior living would be terrific; there a 2YEAR waiting list and no one will break protocol, even in an emergency. The one place I can afford and put a credit/background application in for is yanking me around about my little bird in a cage while accepting 2 dogs and 1 cat! I sense the enemy’s cloven hooves in my peanut butter! Please pray him away, and let God’s will be done! Soon, please? I’d like to be out by October 31, so I’m not living another month without paying the mortgage! Blessings to all!
We are facing the same issue. Leaving one area because of high crime rate but finding another place to live is hard. China investment firms are bidding on properties and outbidding regular folks like us. The neighborhoods with an HOA are not allowing them to bid on properties so look into any of those. China is buying up properties not to resell but to rent. The enemy is on our land. We have already been taken over. Come quickly Lord Jesus!!!

I need prayer... I don't know why I'm here, alive. I pray. I have attended a church that I really like but I am having a hard time with one person there. Its silly and dumb but its a man I have liked for 40 years. Yes, he has a girlfriend. I need prayer to give me strength to keep going to this church. The Pastor and people are so wonderful. I want to find out why I am on this earth. Right now all I do is work and stay home. I don't have anyone to do anything with nor the money to go do anything. We were told to sell our home, I had to quit my job, we were asked to move close to our son to help with my husband, my husband has dementia, then our children rejected us, we moved in with friends, I lost my dog, chickens and cats. I am trying hard to trust in God right now but the sense of loss is overwhelming. I have no sense of direction or next step. Unsure how to cope with my husband’s steady decline. I need God and I don’t have words right now.
I am struggling with staying steadfast during the completion and intentional delays of my separation/divorce ( 6 years so far!) fending off weariness and discouragement. I have also torn something in my knee, (with no medical solution) with the chronic pain adding another level of despondency. I've been having a hard time with my mental health (thoughts of suicide and thoughts of self harm) lately. It's improved to the point where I'm not thinking it, but I would appreciate prayers! I don't want to fall back into that way of thinking.
I have gone through another time as yours. The Lord has shown me that I need to take my thoughts under control and not allow my mind to go to negative thinking. I am also always listening to Max Lucado's teachings to encourage my thought pattern. Praising God for everything He has done for me and my family has changed my thoughts and my depression and anxiety are leaving. I know it will be a daily work that I must do to change all the bad thoughts I have had all my life. I also purchased the book on Don't give the enemy a seat at your table by Louie Giglio. I like the ant farm analogy, I have often thought on it, myself. Here is where it falls down, though. God has promised that a select number of "ants" will be transformed, given new and improved bodies, and installed as "keepers," themselves. In Revelation 5 John writes, _"You have made them a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth."_ Now that's a future to look forward to. Woohoo!

If we liken ourselves to ants living between two panes of plastic in a human version of an ant farm, what if an ant asked their keeper for help because they felt contained, constricted, and fearful due to being confined, restricted, and blocked from their freedoms, their families, their once healthy lives, and sustenance…how do the ants pray, relate and fellowship with a keeper who placed them in a moment where needs, hopes, and sustenance not being met?
Most people think of God along the lines of a loving uncle or a kindly grandfather type. Your analogy is closer to right, Margeaux. There is a H U G E gulf between our nature and God's. I like the ant farm analogy, I have often thought on it, myself. Here is where it falls down, though. God has promised that a select number of "ants" will be transformed, given new and improved bodies, and installed as "keepers," themselves. In Revelation 5 John writes, _"You have made them a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth."_ Now that's a future to look forward to. Woohoo!
