I hope this leads to the JLA and Avengers reprint in Absolute format and a new collaboration between DC and Marvel. Can you imagine a Hickman and Ribic JLA and Avengers or a Waid and Mora Superman and Spider-Man.

I ordered a copy of the DC versus Marvel Omnibus (George Perez cover) a few days back from Amazon Canada which arrived the other day. Sadly the dustjacket was off position and was about a centimetre down getting crushed inside the shrinkwrap which was not Amazon's fault. I thought about returning it back for a replacement copy but decided to keep it and told Amazon to just give me back a partial refund to make up the unexpected damage that came to the dustjacket which they did giving me a 15% refund plus getting the book off at 38% off during the order so now I got the book at 53% off in total.
@TBATB Can't afford it at the moment, but hopefully down the road. Have you actually read the material before or is it your first time through it? (I haven't read it yet.)
Funny thing is they did not collect the 3 crossover stories between Marvel and the Wildstorm characters that were originally collected in the crossover classics volume 3 which is weird because this characters belong to DC and are part of the DC universe now. I thought I was for sure going with the Jim Lee cover but decided to go with the Perez cover. I liked the Darkseid on the Lee cover but on the Perez cover he is in the back plus Perez cover looks more pleasing to look at and you have to have Hulk in the front for me. Excited about this omnibus.
Really like the Jim Lee dust jacket. I would have gone with that one too. The same people who say it’s lazy usually can’t draw to save their lives. Just an observation. Keep up the awesome content.
As I said in the video, I would’ve been happy with either cover. I just wanted whatever would come to me faster, I think the Jim Lee art looked a little better before it was colored. I would’ve been all over an unwrapped cover!

got my book coming in a few days. classic cover. can't wait. I actually do have the JLA/Avengers "absolute." spent a pretty penny for it over a year or so ago and haven't regretted it once. i do hope everyone else can get a new reprint of that story. the best crossover between the two companies, imo.

I also do call it an absolute without the quotes because it has a slip case and it’s absolute sized 😂

New Teen Titans/X-Men is a good storie but a lot of these stories are not that good . I use to have the 4 Paperbacks & decided to upgrade kus I am excited about this release but I know were to set my expectations as far as how good are these stories as a read , I just hope everybody else did the same so they dont get bummed out expecting this to be Scott snyders batman or Claremont x-men
@JennySparkz the super man was good but I cant remember if I've read the darkseid vs galactus.. I cant wait to get my copy in , I havent read all of the stories in the book & the ones I have read were a long time ago so they are a bit foggy in my memory
I think for most people even if the story is only average it’s just such a trip seeing different characters together that aren’t normally together. That being said there are a few crossovers in this book that are very special and I think you’re gonna blow people’s minds.
X-Men/Teen Titans is the best story in the bunch. Superman v The Hulk is the worst,or at least the most disappointing one. They didn't really fight each other.
I agree, the composition is so awkward. It looks like a bunch of different drawings of characters layered on each other like those ugly shirts you can get from Target. It did look better before it was colored, but it still looks like the characters aren't even interacting with each other. The John Byrne art on board and George Perez cover (from the Crossover Classics tpb from the early 90s) are both better. The John Byrne art was done as a fan commission even 😅
@TBATB I've been working on a story Regarding forge in which he gets the seven magical lands, equation Along with access to the Web of destiny, which was given to him bye. A native american spider grandmother In which forge goes into different dimensions, gathering technology and allies
I opted to get the classic cover. Did not want to wait and risk missing out on this.

Last year i had to fight for the first print jla /avengers on a ebay auction,and spoiler alert i won, i dreamed to ow the mini series for a long time

Galactus Vs darkseid and the second Superman spider - Man team up are the best of this book IMPO
