As far as paint goes, I'd say midnight purple, factory grey or millenium jade. Shit'd look maddd

Midnight purple is expensive AF though. Our GTR is midnight purple and at one point someone damaged one panel. I replaced the panel but it had to be re-sprayed and even that one panel cost $$$.

Yes, one of the ECU's in the boot is to do with HICAS, the other ECU is to do with the ABS. It's called the ABS control unit. Trust me when I say you want to keep ABS in this car. It's a heavy car and they will lock up on you more often that not.
I have also removed HICAS in my car as it was a weird feeling going a round a corner at low speeds as the rear wheels turned the opposite way making you think the rear of the car has no traction and is sliding around but actually it's just that its pivot point is now in the centre of the car not in the rear giving you have even more traction. After getting used to that, you then realise the rear wheels turn the same way as the fronts at high speeds helping the car tuck into apex's. Now I understand the characteristics more, I realise that it actually improves how the car goes around a corner and is perfect for a track car build so I'm now debating weather to put it back in. If you are planning to drift the car then obviously remove it but for anything else, the car handles better with HICAS, especially at high speeds.

@@BrokenSilvia no problem, we are practically doing the same build expect yours is far more extensive. I guess it's one less thing to go wrong and not a major thing if it's removed. What engine are you dropping in it?

Your production quality has sky(line) rocketed and it's amazing. Keep up the good work mate, can't wait to see it finished! As for colour.. being a painter by trade, Midnight Purple 3 if you are wanting to use an original GTR colour. If not, then Porsche Miami Blue (M5C/J5).

My preference on colour would have to be Midnight Purple II. That's always an extra show stopper on top of that it's an r34.

Paint Job should be Red Wine.
Not many R-34s are out there this color way. Many have the silver, bayside blue and midnight purple but not RED WINE🍷

Great project ! I'l love to see an Skyline get rescued and with much love and time you could do great things to this Cars. For the Color i recommend bayside blue, midnight purple or a nice clean silver :) maybe red will look good as well but you have allready a Nissan in red soo...

I personally like midnight purple, factory grey or Bayside blue. Whatever you choose make it special and not some shitty/tacky/goofy colour that is going fuck up that impressive, meticulous hard work. That thing will literally be brand new when your done. Wouldn't be surprised if someone offered you big $$$ for it some day!

Also are you planning on making this car a show car quality restore with the interior intact or are you going for complete racing specs with a gutted interior that is bare metal and roll cage?

Pulling it apart is alot easyer than yd think. As for the colour mine was active Red before the conversion & i went to bayside blue. I wish i had of left it red now as theyre quite rare in that color. Whatever colour you choose the finish is dependant on the prep so dont skimp on that. Going for an unusual colour affects its saleability later on so if you think yr going to sell it at any point a factory colour makes them alot easyer to find a buyer. Looks great keep up the vids. Theyre getting better all the time.

If I was going for a show stopper it’s hard to argue with the nostalgia of Bayside Blue, but after seeing Ammos the best black ever it reminds me that a show stopper doesn’t need to be showy, sometimes subtlety is the strongest show piece of them all

Plastic sandwich bags don't hold up very well. Hey yourself some organisers from Bunnings for about $6. You can also take dividers out to make space for smaller brackets etc. I have several that I use especially for my calipers
