- Hi everyone! In this video, I show you how I blocked the knit hoodie scarf from the previous video. At first I wasn't sure if it was necessary but the scarf is 50% wool so I thought I would give it a try just to see how it might change the texture and/or shape.

hey guys! How has your experience with blocking been? Any tips, tricks, things to avoid?
i really like seeing you experiment with different knitting techniques! i was hoping you'd do a blocking video, i'm getting ready to block my first piece and i'm scared on how to approach it haha, well timed! keep the videos up :D

You get those floor mats from Bunnings mate. They look like the ones on my workshop floor.
got them from action, it's like a cross between bunnings and a 100 yen store
@menaknits do you have to use those blocks?? Or can you just use the towel on a hard floor??

ブロッキング用の洗剤（detergent）に是非手づくり石鹸使ってみてください。ソフトナーの役目もするのでやわらかく仕上がります。これ長いスカーフだから大変でしたね。ご苦労様。
Why do you want to show us the things that you have to do, this is compulsory, don't assume us stupid.
there's no need to be rude. i'm personally interested to see this, as someone new to knitting, and she knows perfectly well that a large portion of her audience would be beginner knitters. just because you don't want to see it doesn't mean that you have to actively discourage these videos. it's not just about you, it's about the others watching and about her own knitting journey. not to mention, there is plenty of debate online on whether or not accessories like scarves and hats need blocking. if it bothers you that much, there's no need to spend the time commenting. frankly unnecessary and cruel. really sad to see.
