@@amazinggrace90I've had 2 heat exchangers burst resulting in flooding. I will add that they have quickly been replaced by Bobil. Are you running the 12v element through a relay or directly from your battery?
@@robertbrooke1289 it was connected through the relay they provided in the kit. I did try directly wiring it but no joy. Their answer is to take the boiler apart and there is a reset button on the element. An absolute nightmare, however they have offered to do it for me.
It might need the engine running or the van to be plugged into shore power to get the extra charge going into the battery to run the electric element in the boiler Brent, heating 10 litres of water is quite a challenge from batteries alone...I could be wrong but still, it's worth a try. The only time I'd consider heating 10 litres of water using batteries, is when I'd be driving. Cool piece of kit 👍 Good show mate!
That's not a bad idea to wack it on when driving! Also yeah you are right defo to be used when on hook up. TBF the diesel heater does a fast job of heating the water.
Hi. Did you get it all working? I've had the same kit for just over a year. Works great but I have had some issues.
Yes except the 12 volt element has never worked. What issues do you have?

@@robertbrooke1289 wow 2 heat exchangers that's nuts. Makes you question the quality of the parts.
