- For a first time building a loft I think we killed it! We definitely over built this thing seeing as it is just for storage but I would rather be safe then sorry! Also WTF is with this Amazon light I purchased?

“For a guy who doesn’t handle a lot of wood, I’m doing pretty good with the wood”😂😂😂
almost liked it, but it's at 69
Liked it at 99 im the 100th like!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Liked it at 199 I’m the 200th like!
I started thinking... so when you mentioned a “hang out spot” and an “office” it makes me think that it’d be cool if you put a wall in front of under the loft that either extends before or after the front door so that the tv is in its own space. Even soundproofing that one room could help with voiceovers or talking to the camera without so much echo... not sure if you’ll see this but hoping it gets out there!
Banana bread
Upvote here must se
Banana bread cause I love hearing how you’re feeling and what you want to do, stay committed brother
Banana bread - The reason why I think you're the best "car" related channel on RUclips is because you're so real. You're 100% honest with us and you really live up to the phrase "stay committed". Me and all of my car buddies love watching you Robbie. Keep doing what you're doing
I'm just here waiting for the comments on 11:24
#RobbieDoesntHandleHisWood
Congrats on 200k!
"Banana bread. Why is that the first thing that came to my brain?" Thank you for another inspirational Robbie-ism. Can't wait to see what comes next!
banana bread gang
You should use a thick rope as “railings” for the stairs
Banana bread
Banana bread !! been here since the karma build goes ! love your cinematic and music selection tho
Notification squad!
Also my guy can we please get an update on the hotwheels collection?
Banana bread
Banana bread, congratulations on your 200k subscribers! And thanks for the words at the end of the video, I think that helps us a lot to hear someone like you telling us important “messages” from the things you learn through your life and being always so supportive, pushing us to be more and to do more stuff that we love it’s really awesome
Happy 200k bro, you’re one of the biggest inspirations in my life
And banana bread
Watching your videos literally get me off my ass and get me pumped and motivated to work on my car/house. #StayCommited #BannaBread.
Love the loft! And I completely understand what you were talking about at the end, pretty much going through the same issue here in WA state, wife and I have been wanting to move away for years, and it will definitely happen, but like you said, for mental health, it’s good to enjoy what you have at the time and make the best out of it!
Congrats on the 200k and banana bread!!
join us in florida lol
Turn the desk 90* so it’s against both walls, not sticking out cutting the little space in half.
Yeah I was thinking that too
10:30 = the moment he realised what he's about to say might get clipped and turned into a meme
I actually scrolled down to the comment sections to see if there were any 'wood' jokes.
Wow a car mechanic AND a carpenter, Robbie Repairs and builds home. He really does do IT all.
GUYS I GOT AN AMAIZNG IDEA, COMMITTED CREW CRUISE, Robbie drives around west coast part of Canada and us fans can go for a drive with and stop and do meets n stuff
Committed Cruise
Once he's more popular it would be a good idea
@@firstnamelastname5573 lol i'd drive from ontario to BC just to cruise with robbie..
First Name Last Name I mean he’s got a good following already
banana bread :) if your gonna move but stay somewhat close, i recomend the okanagan and specifically penticton, it’s like a 6 hour drive and we get little to no rain cause of the mnts and honestly some goid weather
It would be cool to see the shop improvements and builds from time to time, just to get some fresh air from cars
Dude I totally agree. I’m from Seattle and I always tell my friends that the weather is depressing as hell. So I understand where your coming from. I hope wherever you move to you fine joy and be happy.
I got serious Fast and Furios vibes from that intro song lmao
Thank god it wasn't just me
Banana bread @17:00 robbie out here preachin I actually needed to hear this currently going through a similar funk knowing a space is only temporary
Hang banners across the railing posts to "close" it in more. Think it would look good.
Banana bread... great advice buddy. There’s no better feeling knowing that everything you have is yours and you learn to appreciate YOUR things because of all the hard work you’ve put in. Stay Committed!
Congratulations on 200k❤️
Banana bread. Robbie I freakin love your channel. I am so glad you show that you can mess up as well. Makes me feel like you are one of us. Thank you and keep up the great work
Never would I ever watch a video about building a loft, let alone 2. Unless it's Robbie's, then of course I'm all the way locked in.
Banana bread
yayyy congrats on 200k robbie! it’s well deserved and i hope you continue to grow the channel. also i like when you do a little segment at the end of the video that’s has advice and stuff like that because we all have room to grow and advice can help us grow in the right way. also BANANA BREAD
I wanna watch this but I’m stuck at school rn😭😭
NX_Franzix I always threw in ear buds and watched it anyway lol. Priorities.
Damn dude, it's 10 in the evening here
Banana Bread Robbie ! This is exactly why I watch every video he puts up humble for what he has doesn’t hide his mistakes and genuinely an awesome dude and channel. 🤙
Sounds like Robbie needs to try living in the Okanagan! You wouldn’t regret it. Also, Banana Bread ;)
Always looking forward to new content and videos but the little tid bit at the end is what started this whole journey for you. Staying committed and keeping things going no matter the situation you were put in. You’re a big inspiration and I’m always pushing myself to be the best that I can be no matter what I’m doing. You’re videos inspired me to keep working on my project that’s been just taking up space for about 5 or so years and even when I get down and I’m not sure I even want to work on it anymore I remember your story behind your do more tattoo on your hand and I just go for it ! Full send or no send ! And by the way banana bread is great lol
Robbie: “To celebrate I was gunna do something stupid outside”
Me: 😏 Skidz brah
I can not even begin to explain how many life lessons I have learned from watching your videos, and it has made me want to build my own cars and full send life. Granted I don't have the money to but I finally have a stable job so hopefully soon I can start working on cars and sending it that much harder. Thank you for making some amazing content and Stay Committed. Also banana bread.
Robbie,
You are an avesome youtuber.
Keep going, keep making youtube videos and remember :
Stay commited
PS congratulations for 200k subs
Banana bread! Congratulations on 200k subs! I love watching your channel, super laid back and gives me the chill vibe. Keep your head up and enjoy every moment :)
Banana Bread
Keep the positive vibes. Even when things are not 100% you still keep positive and it shows. I respect that so much! Looking forward to where the future goes and to see you grow! Keep moving forward!
Banana bread
If your liability carrier saw that loft they'd drop you in a second. :(
You need twice the amount of 4x4 supports and they should have been tall enough to continue into the railing, you used no joist hangers, the stairs are a huge hazard, and your railing balusters should be 4" apart max... Among many other issues.
J B yup
Banana the bread son , all I got to say it this. The positive vibes and energy you put into what you do is what keeps you afloat. You’re a young dude and your accomplishing a shit ton more than most people today. Keep it up, and grind on. Invest in yourself and those around you. You guys are doing great
I’ve never seen someone butcher “safety” like that😂
Banana bread! Man I am in awe of the mental maturity you have as a young adult, hoping to get there myself someday. Also loving these noncar diy videos to kinda break it up a bit. Double also, is this like a Canadian/American thing with masks when working? Cause I have literally built and tore down whole houses without seeing anyone wearing them.
Banana bread. I’m about to do the crazies thing with my best friend we love in California and are going to go pick up a imported supra drive it back while starting our RUclips channel
Banana bread!! Hope you find exactly what makes you happy Robbie! Congratulations on 200k!!!
Color changing led strips for the bottom part of the loft 💀
Just trying to help, but from a guy who is always doing home diy projects and with about 7 years experience as an apprentice/carpenters helper for your design metal joist hangers on the joists of your floor frame would improve strength/bounciness, to further improve floor strength sister another board up next to your center joist and add a screw every 6 or so inches along the lenght of the board... ussualy that would be done before putting the frame into place but since you supported the inner wall the way you did you might still want to add brackets on the outer edge joists if you didnt support them the same way you did on the inner wall.... also, you said you planned on using shorter screws for your plywood, the general rule is, you should always multiply the width of your plywood(or sheetrock or panel board) by 3... so if thats 3/4 in plywood you would want at least 2 and 1/4 in screws holding them down, unless the thickness of what you are screwing into doesnt permit you would want to use the maximum size available without penetrating the other side of the boards... im not judging you or criticizing, i hit that like button... hope it helps
I feel you with the muggy nastiness as I live in Everett about 45 mins north of Seattle and it’s just gross and negative
Maltic Industries agreed!! In Washington too and the weather doesn’t help!
"Banana Bread"
That was reeeeeeally inspiring...coz, I'm in this mental space and I keep telling myself to get one thing done before doing another.
I should just stop and appreciate what I've done already and what I have. I've made real strides and I immediately tell myself, "...people do this everyday. Move to the next thing.", in an effort to stay "grounded" or some kind of crap.
It all moves soooo fast, life. You've got to enjoy it...you've got to breathe in the moments...or something to that effect.
Anyway, Thanks! I truly got that when you said it.

Committed crew boiiiis.
Using some wood glue would of been nice to make it way more secure too.
that wouldn't help
@@jonne4555 yeah it would any carpenters knows. Wood glue clamped down than secured with nails after. Makes it more solid.
@@1kkfred there is literally no point in using wood glue in what he's doing
@@jonne4555 the hand rails could be glued down than nailed in. Same thing with the reinforcement beams he installed today. Glued down and clamped no need for the bolt he wants to install. Watch any woodworking video and they will use some type of wood glue be it crazy glue or gorilla glue. For every project. It's not the end of the world he didnt. But would make it more secure.
You are absolutely right, I always try to do things my way and personalize everything. I love to really customize things so that I enjoy using them always.
Hope you doing well in the next 8 months, stay committed and have y all a great day!
Bananabread Robbie!! Staying committed to making myself happy, making the best of my situations. Robbie: RUclipsr and inspirational speaker.
Congratulations on 200k can't wait for the 500k mark!
The last six minutes of this video were really helpful and made me think about how I can apply this to my life and I really appreciate it.
Banana bread
If you want lots of sunshine Calgary would be the place to go. We moved from Calgary to Seattle a few years back and it took me about 2 years to adjust but after the adjustment I stopped noticing the rain and gray. Now we are in Ottawa and I initially hated it here for the first 6 months because I missed the mountains in West and the summer was not as good as in Seattle. This winter was our first here and it felt like there wasn’t as much sun as I thought there would be. To me the best compromise was Calgary because even if the winters were cold a Chinook would roll in and it was warm and sunny again.
BANANA BREAD, we love you Robbie, the way you always FULL SEND IT!! Love the message at the end!
Banana bread and robie I really want to thank you for being a constant source of motivation for myself to stay committed to my work and my now developing RUclips channel. Keep up the amazing work you've got a sub for life here bud :)
You’re not only a RUclipsr, one of my favorite ones too, your messages to us are inspirational and you’re a role model and motivate me to stay committed and banana bread too keep at it bro
There is only one way to do things like this.. the RIGHT WAY ! Great video bro. Great skills
Been here since 10k what an awnsome journey!!!! Road to 500k 😎
"banana bread" love your videos bro. Don't think I've ever been looking forward to someone's videos that much and I've learned a lot from your videos. Not only practical stuff but also menttaly, to stay committed and that making mistakes is okay and all that sort of stuff.
Banana Bread! Been here since before jasmine 1.0 and will be here beyond the end! You are an inspiration and the reason I am starting my own channel. Love the videos keep wrenching!
Take some of the sawdust and mix it with wood glue till it becomes a paste and use that to fill in the chips and screw holes. this way you can sand smooth and then paint or stain and it will have a more even finish. Cheap and easy way to fix the holes.
Banana bread. Looks awesome man, glad to see you making the space better for your needs.
Banana Bread! So true mate, the motivation that you spread is amazing!
I like this style of video occasionally its a nice change. Always happy to see videos of how you can improve your work space
Banana bread! thank you for all the content and an inside look into how your doing, even if you leave the projects behind your moving onto better things :)
You never cease to inspire me, banana bread
Congrats on 200K!
Congrats on 200k robbie 🤯🤯🥳
Banana bread,
The Robbie-isms are super relatable and motivational.
Banana bread and congrats for 200k. Much love from the UK
Banana Bread, loving the vids you have helped me in dark times with your advice and seeing you thrive through hard times really helps me to try and better myself.
Robbie! Come to the rogue valley! It's a small little town in Southern Oregon. I grew up there and it's an amazing little valley. It has all 4 seasons too. But I moved away about a year ago to come up north and I miss it so much. It's so perfect there. I'm moving back in a few months to follow my dream of working with cars. My friend and I are setting up a shop on his property. Land is cheap down there and the car culture is super layed back. Maybe a place you'd be interested in looking at. Anyway, love your vids bro. Banana bread. ✌
you should get those nanoleaf canvas LED panels for under the loft. fully customizable lighting on the fly and you can even play music and have them react to the music
Mega congrats on 200k!
holy shit we at 200k!!!! Man Robbie this channel is so big now!! Of squad from 36k though much respect!!! Stay Committed
Thats true robbie, making a place yours for only a temporary falls into living your life to the fullest
Banana bread 🍌🍞. It is really nice to see people do what they like, and have fun doing it!
I know the feeling about the gloomy winters. I lived in Tacoma for a year and it was definitely crappy feeling to just see nonstop grey.
Banana bread!
Banana bred gang 😤😤😤
Led light strips that change colors bro. All around the bottom level ceilings. It’ll be a great background for like Q&A vids and ect.
Banana bread!!! I am the same way with the weather and having the sun.
Have u tried using joist hangers for more support? I use them at work all the time at work
Banana bread. Honestly, the making it your own thing makes a lot of sense. that's something I've never done too much before and that I need to do again
I cant wait to watch this when i get home
im watching now
Congrats on 200
Banana bread all the way man! Stay committed Robbie, everything happens for a reason.
Coming from a guy who works at a shop with a loft like that make sure you screw down that plywood it does make a difference walking on it will feel way more secure
Banana Bread. Thanks Robbie for great videos and stuff. U made me believe more in myself. That I can do literally everything i want. So I try hard to fill my dream (same as yours). So I'm building my Mitsu Eclipse and having fun with it in my own crap small garage. :D Staying committed.
it would be cool to see some birds eye view time lapses in some future videos.
Oh and Banana bread
Banana bread 😊
Looks sick, great job
Banana bread ! I grow in Québec and to mee it is so cold that rain would feel better than all that snow and -40°c
Hey Robbie, quick idea for the office area under the loft, buy wood laminate like u used for the trunk on the brz, but put it on the walls under the loft BANANA BREAD
Banana bread congrats for 200k and for the loft it’s coming out great 👍
Banana bread! Make the space yours. Enjoy it, we can feel the positive energy. Full send or no send
Put some Ply on the insides of the railing! Would strengthen it gives you some options on shelving for smaller parts
Recommendation: put a piece of wood along the bottom of the railings so it stops you from kicking things or things falling off, like the inside of the railing at the bottom
Banana bread boi, you're an inspiration to just send it mate keep it up buddy, just gotta push through the hard times
Yo Robbie awesome job!! You should paint the loft to match the rest of the shop!
