Wishing a very happy birthday to Sabryn Genet with this tribute video of her infamous troubled character Tricia Dennison McNeil on Y&R from february 1997 to november 2001 :)
She was a phenomenal actress and for some reason very underrated. She should have won the Emmy for her work with Tricia's insanity and she didn't even get nominated!
@@cyberwolfe I edited it prior to a very probable delete from youtube since they now systematically delete scenes or even Nadia's Theme etc. My Joshua Morrow/Nick Newman and Brenda Epperson/Ashley were deleted by youtube because of the prior scene and/or Nadia's Theme music so to save my few ones still there I edited all the pre-montage scene...unfortunately :/
Great video! Music is great too! Tricia was one of my favorite characters on Y&R. I was fortunate enough to meet her in person back in 2009 at the Camarillo Factory outlets in Camarillo, CA. She was really nice, sweet, and easy to approach. Thanks for posting this!
Oh my gosh - what an incredible tribute!! We were a couple of years behind in Australia, but still got to watch the amazing character of Tricia. I could kick myself for not taping episodes from this period - when Y&R was truly excellent. Thank you so much for posting this. Where did you get all the fantastic footage? One of my main disappointments with Y&R's 50th Anniversary was the absence of A Return For this Iconic Villain that Was Tricia Dennison! It could've been a short-term one like Cameron Kirsten's!
Yes it was you mean the 1st Grace Turner played by Josie Davis right? If so you are so right they looked a lot alike and came on Y&R around the same time
It would be realistic too. Tricia was institutionalized. It's been over 20 years now. They could have Tricia return to sanity, stand trial (now that she's competent) and be found not guilty by reason of insanity, which she clearly was.
I loved Sabryn’s performance. These were the last years of greatness for Y and R.
And she's very beautiful too.

That's because most of Y&R did not get nominated for that year. ATWT and AMC had large casts. GL played the nomination process well too.

I LOVE Nina. She's been my #1 favorite female character on the on the show and I started watching in '83. Her and Ryan were amazing together!!!
Ryan would have left Nina eventually for Victoria anyway if Tricia didn't come into the picture.
