“Really? When did you graduate?”
“My senior year”
That always gets me
Every time! 🤣
Fran's outfit would be still in today!
Would you wear it?
@@isaaclim8645 I think so. Tie dye is fun!
Same with Maggie’s Pastel dress
All her outfits are timeless
OufitS hunny... FitSSS😂😂😍😍
Love that Fran paid the woman to act like she thinks Fran is too young to be there 😂😂
Fran’s love life is really diverse. She dated Maxwell’s brother, she dated an old millionaire, her cousin, and others
Honestly the police man was the only one id have been happy if she stayed with him.
The blind guy was really sweet. Wish she would've stayed with him 😍
@@DreamCheesex3 same
The mobster lol
Her cousin? Did she not know him or something?
I wanted Fran’s rainbow outfit when I was little and I want it now!!
Heck yeah, I’d still wear that lol.
The irony is most people found this show through nick at night
That's how I found out about this show lol
I don’t know what that is
I watched this when they used to play reruns on lifetime
Guilty ✋
Define most people...I'm old enough to have watched it in real time, even when the jokes went over my head
That was funny Fran paying the waitress to ID her. The things she does to make herself seem younger lol
At 17 I loved this episode, at 24 I’m now grossed out that someone my age even wanted to date a teenager lol
right???
Dude wears a fedora and that explains so much...
I know! there are even 30-40 year olds who date 18-19 year old girls! Of course they justify it by saying "women mature earlier/faster than men" :D
Wait, how old was the guy Fran was talking to?
@@Haru_Misu I guess 25 maybe??
Fran always looks amazing, did anybody see how beautiful Maggie is. She's so lanky and shy yet so cute and elegant.
Maggie says "he didn't know the Saved By The Bell kids went to college" lol, but the guys' styles are so Saved By The Bell 😄
Maggie was SO beautiful 😍love her dress
So nice! Would love to have it
The blond guy is such a hunk.
Look at that manly jawline.
I remember him from Happily Divorced too.
He is Deacon from the Bold and the beautifull. 😊
Dang her outfit is gorgeous
After getting his ass kicked by Daniel LaRusso, Mike Barnes left Cobra Kai and moved back to the east coast, got a college education, and dated Ms. Fine. Not a bad epilogue!
I am thinking the actor will be back on the Cobra Kai series!
"I have everything in common with you!"
"well, I'm stunted, I have no money!"
Fran has great self esteem tactics!!
I could see Clueless again lol
Same
*"Well, I'm stunted, I have no life."😆😆*
Same 😅
In French, Maggie says she can see pocahontas again. Which makes her look even more childlike
I know that's my language, and I think it's sooooo cute😊💜💜💜✨✨✨
Guy: So Fran, where did you go to school?
Fran: Hillcrest High
Guy: When did you graduate?
Fran: (avoiding giving up her age) My senior year
😂😂😂😂😂
O i see now. She was avoiding giving her age. O wow
"Thank God for nick @ nite"
It's funny because I started watching the nanny when it was on nick at nite in the early 2010s
I can relate. When I was a teenager older men were so interesting. Now younger men become more and more interesting 😂❤️
😅 I think so too. I always believe I was born to early 😉
Yeah people usually want what they're not. Someone old when they're young, someone young when they're old.
@@k-leb4671 oldER lol when you are actually old dating a young is creepy
Of course you can relate because Fran is a woman. If it was a man, you'd call him creepy.
@@ashashraa6579 A 35 year old person dating a 24-25 year old person isn't creepy (regardless of gender)
Now a 25 year old and a 17 year old on the other hand... Unless you are a very immature 25 year old - hella creepy.
Sometimes they live. Old man balls
Dependents "Donna, Karan, Ralph, Lauren"
The Joan Collins joke was funny since later Joan plays Maxwell’s stepmother.
She doesn't even look much older than him
SOMETIMES THEY LIVE 🤣🤣🤣
that was the best line. Not sure people understand it. This is more like British humour .Not really for US people.
The red book with a woman wearing a black dress on the bookshelf behind them is Fran drescher’s bio book... ;)
you can see Fran's book on the shelf behind her.
This episode has so many great lines, but it definitely didn’t age well. It’s pretty problematic when you realize Maggie, who’s 17 in this episode, was dating a 25 year old. That guy had no business being interested in a minor still in high school. This is the one time I feel Max actually had good reason to be overprotective of Maggie. Fortunately, Maggie came around to Fran’s point about the age gap not working out.
It's not the first time Maggie is in this kind of "being underage" situation. For example, in the first episode her father caught her kissing a waiter during the party.
To work there the guy must be at least 18, and she is 14 at the time !
Maxwell is always portrayed as the overprotecting father, but he's right more often than we give him credit for. He's just clumsy.
I just disagree on the "episode not aging well" part. It's not like they're presenting age gap as romantic or healthy. Quite the opposite in fact. And instead of just forbidding Maggie to see the guy (which would have been a sure way to set her even more into seeing older men...she's a teen !), Fran is making her realize exactly WHY age gap relationship can't work.
But they could have insisted on how creepy it is for adult men to be attracted to teenage girls.
I understand that, but to be honest i never got to fully understand these things in american movies. In Europe, or Poland, 17 and 25 is nothing wrong. 🤷♀️ Sure, its a gap and legally she cant drink, but nothing wrong or criminal or whatever drama it seems to be in States i guess?
@@annapuczyowska8772 I’m well aware of that. My ancestry is Mexican, and I know this type of relationship is common in Mexico and in much of Latin America. Many don’t think anything of it. I’ve heard stories from my mother about her dating experiences with much older guys (hindsight is 20/20). In the case of the US, I think it’s the idea this kind of relationship can be exploitative or even abusive. Adults can groom or manipulate minors into questionable and even harmful situations. To many teens the attention from an adult probably seems flattering, but then sometimes they realize years later how fucked up it really is. What does an adult want with someone who’s legally (and in many other ways) still a child? Obviously any gender is capable of being predatory/exploited, but consider how much more common it is to see an adult man show interest in a teen than an adult woman doing the same. I definitely don’t know of nearly as many cases of adult women being interested in teens (yes, I know it happens but much less frequently). How often do you really see a 25-year-old woman pursue a 17 year old of any gender and sexual orientation regardless of legality? As a gay man in my 30s, I can’t imagine being with a guy younger than 25 at this point in my life.
I 100% disagree.
I don't think there is a problem being 25 years old and dating someone 17...it happenned to me (I was 17 je was 25) and it wasn't a big deal for anybody. She is not underaged
@@annapuczyowska8772 It's not a "drama" just in the States, as you seem to think.
First of all, the glamourisation of teens with adults is pretty common in medias in the USA. Which is why it's nice to note when a show/serie points out how messed up it is.
Also I'm french, and we're not fine with adults preying on teens, in real life or in movies. So if it's OK in Poland, it's not OK in Europe (can't say for sure for the other countries though).
Secondly, Maggie is not 18, but 17. And yes, it does make a difference.
Because it means she's underage.
Because it means she's a highschool student.
And adults finding highschool student attractive is creepy as hell.
And...yes, in some countries sleeping with an underage person IS a crime.
By the way, legal or not, socially acceptable or not, portrayed in the medias or not, there is something wrong with adults sleeping with teens. And this particular episode explains exactly why.
Nick @ night 🤣
