I sleep with my Teddy bears everyday without them I feel like I’m dead. Somehow, my Knut brought so much happiness into my life. I’ve a large canvas of him in my living room. Also since he passed away I’ve set my phone wallpaper and lock screen with his photo. He passed away in 2011 and it’s 2019 and I think about him almost everyday. RIP Knut and Thomas.
So he died. I really feel sad, but if you look at the footage, and mute the music, you can see how great of a life he had. His memory, even to this day, with you watching this video and reading these comments, makes his existence worthwhile.

I don't think what they did with Knut was wrong. He was rejected by his mother and left to die. These people came and cared for him. He would've died in just a matter of days if it weren't for them. They took great care of him in captivity. I see nothing wrong with what they did. His death was not in any way related to the environment to which he was raised. It was just an unfortunately illness mixed with heartbreak. He missed his owner.

If he were watched a little closer, he would have survived. the bigger they get, the less officials paid attention to him. He was part of a dying breed, and the would mourns the loss of those precious few. My heart always goes out to this video.
