Shooting Stars are my GO-TO afk activity when I want to play another game but still make progress in OSRS. Literal set and forget, I starred from 76 to 82 and have 33,330 stardust in bank (so close to perfection). Star Miners is HUGE for this activity though. Before joining that discord finding stars was a matter of hoping someone in your cc found one and then hoping someone from that star told you a new one to hop to. Their discord has shoutouts for every star which is HUGE.

Very good video, intense music! To my surprise you can also mine shooting stars in f2p, but no telescopes to scout them. Luckily the F2P Starhunt cc has some dedicated nerds that keeps finding them without one.
Ugh, yet another video that doesn't explain whether or not to use Varrocks Armour or Prospectors top. The wiki doesn't say, the players on reddit also don't know, videos are all contradictory. Half my clan says to use it, the other half says not to, rest of video was great but that was the only piece of info I actually need
There is never really any down side to wearing the varrock armour if you have it. But if you don't have it, and wanted to grind for it, it DOES NOT work on shooting stars, it just acts as a prospector kit for the additional xp.

Theres a runeline plugin that shows all the stars and double clicking quick-hops 👍

Why u wearinf v armour it doesnt work on stars.
It looks cool (I don’t have a prospector top)
+5 drip scape
it also works as prospector top if you have elite done so there's no reason not to
Ironmen farm stardust for the crafting exp from gem bags as well
Varrock armour doesn't work on stars btw
Just acts and prospector and makes my shoulders look huge 😎
