Bruh I found this by watching the show, and on one of the episodes I watched the whole credits scene and heard this... I was shocked because it's the dbz opening song...

OG Dragon Ball anime started in 1986, one year before Hirano was born (and she certainly wasn't in the original voice cast for DBZ). That said, the real reason why they probably paid little to nothing is because all involved series were done by Toei, who also did Lucky Star.

@thisaccountistobeign The difference here is really simple. Usually "gomen" and "sumimasen" are used in different scenarios like the difference between family dinner or business meeting. (Gomen=personal relations/ Sumimasen=public relations) But, for this case it's more simple and is the literal difference between "sorry" and "I'm sorry". One is just more casual than the other because it implies the subject.

I know shes supposed to sound bad and all, but shes hitting those high notes pretty well, and with impressive vibrato. it all falls apart at the chorus, but dam, plenty of control in the verse.
