I've been looking for a video because my bottom glacier water dispenser came with crappy instructions with just pictures and no explanation just "dispenser cleaner" and didnt explain what the cleaner was or consisted of (vinegar) glad I found this video I took same steps just with our bottom load dispenser, thanks very helpful!
So. Here is the ONLY video that I found to address the sketched manual that made sense of it all. One thing I'll add, tho, in the back there is a plug beneath the black knob. I didn't know it was like that...I thought the know was supposed to be a spigot...and no. So I called Customer Service who disconnected as soon as my problem was explained.. Pre Operation procedures 12 through 15...Make sure you REMOVE the plug so your dispenser will drain from the metal tube. The sketch indicates a bucket underneath. You can use the pot you heated your water in. Half of your draining will take place in the front on each side, hot and cold. The other half in the back. DO NOT LOSE THE PLUG. It is smaller than an earplug and when you pop it out, you'd better be ready to catch it! So thankful for this video! You rock!
Thank God for RUclips and you. I couldn't figure out the instructions for the life of me. Then I remembered RUclips. I was so glad I found this video. You answered all my questions and more. Thanks a million. The instrucitons for this product is unbelievable hard to understand.
@@Emmas2023 You have to slide the red tab above the button over and then push the hot water tab. Took a few seconds for the full stream to start coming out of that side
Our hot side didn’t drain until we put the bottle on (but still not plugged in) I read somewhere that it has a low water sensor, so I don’t think it will work until then.
Thank you for this video. I want sure what to do. And I get that the picture "instructions" are so that anybody speaking other languages could follow the instructions. This way they don't have to print instructions in multiple languages on multiple pages of paper. But they are so cartoonish-like, it's ridiculous! Your video was very helpful. THANK YOU. ✌& ❤ 😊
@@MarioMalvido you should get a new one and leave stand for 24hr then clean it and follow directions after you do that in about 2 hours would start cooling and when the water is cold it would turn the blue light that’s what I did I had to change it because the first one was damaged

I bought it a month ago and followed your instructions to set up. After a month it started leaking water from behind. Any suggestions before I take it back to Home Depot?
Actually not a great video. You are wrong. You leave the water/vinegar mixture in the reservoir for 20 minutes. It needs to stay in there for 20 minutes THEN drain. AND you have to use 4 CUPS of vinegar not 2. Its 4 cups hot water with4 cups of vinegar. You're welcome.
I confess I'm a man that was lost following the instructional manual and needed directions! You're my heroine!! Thank you!

Thank you so much 🙏 i recently bought this exact model and mine doesn’t have instructions but it’s sealed. This helped me 🙏🙏🙏
I also couldn't find a video and found this extremely helpful
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I was so confused by the instructions..
Great video. Buy you added only 2 cups of vinegar. Earlier you said 4 cups of water and 4 cups of vinegar.
Thank you, bought one for work so I can deduct the cost from my state taxes… yes we pay state tax (unlike Nevada - you lucky…) good video.
Thankyou for making this usefull video👍🏻
Love from 🇺🇸💕
I just got the same model at home depot. Great video to set up the water dispenser.
Thank you! Instructions were clear and very useful !👍🏽
So do we do the set up process everytime we put a new water bottle on,or no??
Thanks you so much for this helpful video cause I couldn’t not set it up my dispenser
Thank you ! I just bought one exactly the same and it didn’t come with instructions so I was very confused.
Did you cold light light up blue to let you know the water was cold?
You didn’t show the part on how to get the full water jug on. I’m worried about spilling it all over.
Hey great vid. The directors suck!!!! You made it very clear. Thank you.
Is there a button to drain it or it just comes out as soon as the plug comes off?
How long did it take to cool water ?? Also when did the blue light for cold water turn on??
Mine is not cooling! Never turns in the blue light!

Thank you!! How much does yours cost to run do you think? I’m afraid as I’ve heard they cost a lot to run.
Thanks this was super helpful! :D
Agree the picture instructions are confusing and vague.
How do you drain the hot??? I'm stuck help
Super easy take it out of the box plug it into the wall and put your water thing on top of and go
Thank you for this!
I followed your steps but it still smells/tastes terrible. 😭 Any advice?
Just plug and drink right
You are appreciated.
I just wanna know how the hell to put the jug on top without spilling half of it every damn time I replace it.
Dont open the seal on the water jug. Just place the jug where it goes on the dispenser and the dispenser will punch a hole through the seal itself.
@@greenerdays999 that makes sense now. But I have to get a new cap every time? Damn
@@LomeliSuave nah what cap? Lol
@@LomeliSuave you just buy a new jug, peel the sticker off but leave the clear plastic piece on the jug. The dispenser will punch the hole itself
2:58 That's what she said :)
Do you don’t wash the other parts???
It doesn't say in the instructions, but I washed them
Where is the filter?
Am I the only one who can’t get the hot side to pour?
i couldnt either
I couldn't either :(
Maybe let it heat up first. Just a thought
I couldn't either 😳
I just got this on clearance at my local homedepot for $75
$50.00 at my Home Depot. Awesome deal!
Me too!
My water is not cooling nor getting hot after setting it up. What am I not doing right
Did you turn on the switch on back?
What switch on the back?
I bought it a month ago and followed your instructions to set up.
After a month it started leaking water from behind.
Any suggestions before I take it back to Home Depot?
Mine is doing exactly the same thing
Thanks so much
Thank you.....
Thank You
she's cute
Are you getting cold water?
How do you get cold water from your dispenser
How do you turn up your cold water dispenser
Totally skipped the hot side. Bummer 👎

Shut up
Her reason for not getting a bottom load was because of a hose? Really? Is cleaning the hose dangerous?
Yes I lost an eye.
Did you drain the hot side? Mine won't drain, but you skipped that part
Why does mine leak water from the back
