I’ve always said Channels tv works for APC, Tinubu. Quote me notice they came to Peter Obi on purpose to bait him in admitting support for the protest and indirectly assisting Bayo Onanuga’s claims.
I would keep on posting this in every Channels tv comment there is because it keeps on occurring and remains a fact. Same comment 👇🏽
Channels APC Tv, APC has been enshrined in the their workplace since campaign to election. I’m not just raising conspiracy theory you can watch their interviews and investigate yourself, they act like green snake in green grass
They are not just supporters of the APC but also indirect informants, in the interviews they first of all give blames to opposition then ask them ‘what they plan to do about this issue or if you’re in the govt what would you have done?’ indirectly giving information to the govt and also indirectly trying to give them opposition ideas of how to run the country better than thier own confused one. Watch their interviews and you would always hear them

Quite frankly I don’t think their views are in disagreement. I’m sure that Peter Obi would agree with the words of Governor Oti; they are objective and unbiased I believe. The procedure for protests should be done in accordance to the law, this being said, desperation drives all rationale to the wall so I can sympathize with the seeming lack of procedure in the organization of the protests.
Protests are for the voice of the people to be heard, but the reason a Nation is able to remain unified is respect for the law. Provided that the law is respected both by law enforcement personnel during the protests, and protesters themselves, then protests are not bad, especially in a case like this.
Nigeria’s history is coloured with protests during different times of oppression, and we should remember that we continue to write history even today. There is evil deep in the political system, and truth be told, had things been better protests would not be the talk of the nation.

I suggest that Peter Obi focus on preparing for the next election and addressing the internal issues within the Labour Party. To effectively drive change, he should adopt a more collaborative approach, recognizing that no one individual has all the answers to Nigeria's complex challenges.
I share concerns about the 'Take it back movement' and its methods for addressing economic issues. While I understand the desire for change, I believe that our constitution's democratic processes provide the most effective channels for expressing grievances. I'm skeptical about protests and demonstrations as the primary means of effecting change, as they may not be the most productive approach.
Instead, I advocate for inclusive and collaborative problem-solving, recognizing that every Nigerian has a vital stake in our nation's development. I urge my fellow citizens to consider the potential consequences of the upcoming protest and explore alternative, constructive ways to address our economic challenges.
While I support the right to peaceful protest, I also call on security services to maintain order and protect the rights of all citizens. Let's work together to find solutions that benefit everyone, prioritizing constructive dialogue and collective progress.

Tinubu has done 2 things for Nigeria that can change the country FOREVER if properly implemented.
    1. The supreme court judgment which states that federal monthly allocation to LGAs should go directly to LGA account. This brings about N776 BILLION to the 776 LGAs at the grassroots for the first time in Nigeria history
    2. Canceling the UNSUSTAINABLE fuel subsidy and directing the saved money to states and LGAs for additional funding in education, health, jobs, manufacturing, etc. States now get more allocation more than anytime in Nigeria's history. Demand accountability from your governors and LGAs.

I perfectly understand HE Alex Otti's view. However, how else do majority of the people voice out their frustrations and dissatisfaction with a government? Informing the armed forces about a planned protest is as good as terminating the protest. In the Nigerian context, the armed forces have already been informed. Unfortunately, the people feeding fat from the scavenging suffering of the poor Nigerians do not want the planned protest to hold. They're doing every possible thing to discourage disgruntled and hungry Nigerians. Protest is a civic right and responsibility and is not in anyway illegal. It is allowed everywhere in the world where civic rights are well respected. Unfortunately, Africans are yet to start respecting this. My only worry is the carnage our greedy politicians are planning. They're working so hard to change the actual intentions for the protest. My question is: If we don't protest, how else do we press our sufferings to the government??? Every other strategy has failed so far. The judiciary put icing on the cake by imposing Tinubu on us. We're indeed so helpless 😢😢😢

Nobody in power in Nigeria will want a protest against their government. Even if Peter Obi is the governor, he will not want anyone to protest. Peter Obi can't change status quo in Nigeria. I voted for Peter Obi in the last election but now I have realized he can't change the status quo. We need someone who will think differently and who has never spoiled his hand in the past. Peter Obi ruled a state for 8 years without elected LGA Chairmen. That is a sign of a bad leadership. Aisha Yusuf looted part of Peter Obi campaign fund and he can't tell her to be transparent and accountable. He couldn't solve the problem in Labour Party, how sure are you that he is capable of correcting the problem of Nigeria.

Governor Orti, you are wrong here. Nigerians don’t need permission from the police to protest. You only need to inform the police so they can do their civic duties by law to protect the protestors. Which police in this evil inhumane Nigeria state will grant protesters permission to protest. Orti, you dropped the ball here. I still love you. You are a great man. JMO.

That’s what governance is all about.
Not all behaving arrogantly, thereby threatening the people.

The law requires bodies responsible for the protest to notify the police and I have gathered that the NLC and other bodies involved in the protest have officially informed the police of the forthcoming protest. In fact, it is on record that the police have acknowledged receipt of such notice.

During the military regimes there were demonstrations all the time and I think that was why they actually produced better results for Nigerians. The politicians came in and we all took our eyes off the ball and everyone grew comfortable. They learned how to use the traditional rulers who are also in politics, imams and pastors to ask us to pray while they rob us blind. Otherwise tell me how to explain this clamour not to protest. They never had urgent meetings on bandits, insecurity, oil theft and economic hardships, but here the are organizing meetings in Abuja and all the states because of demonstrations. They should be telling us what they discussed about theses issues that I just mentioned. Are the demonstrators worse than the bandits? Na wa oh!😊
