At this point I don't even call my GP anymore, instead I say a prayer thanking Him for letting me be around for so long and that's it.
Blame successive governments since 1979 for making an utter mess of this once great country. Politicians, unqualified individua's making bad decisions that have knock on effects for years to come. The biggest danger to the people of Britain isn't WW3 or climate change, its British politicians!!

Been trying to get a dentist for about 4 years. In 2021 they said its a 3 year waiting list. 3 years later and its still a 3 year wait. No wonder everyone goes to Turkey to get their gnashers done😂
Youre actually lucky you can’t get an appointment mate, all the nhs dentist want to do is pull teeth….it’s their biggest money maker, pull a tooth get paid hundreds, fill a tooth they get £40 …scale and polish and bit of preventative treatment…hell no…gum disease = ££££
I couldn't get dentist either for five years oh it's still covid they said and you moved from Scotland ah well your out of luck .... then paid £200 at a "good" private dentist all they did was damage my teeth and keep my money then went abroad to Algeria 🇩🇿 was £20 for two filling ga and 3 scale and polishes and super clean professional dentists and friendly way better than 🇬🇧 where managers are more likely to tell you to go F yourself than provide any resemblance of customer service or patient care 😅😅
Just go to Poland or Hungary- in places like Wroclaw they will even pick you up from the airport, no kidding. They will speak English and have clean, well equipped clinics. All for half or 2/3 of what you would pay here- and that's including the plane ticket.

Not sure what to say, i called the dentist got an appointment the next day. Maybe it depends where you live
Call 111 and overexaggerate your issue so they can get a GP to call you. Cry like a Karen.
Luckily the GP clinic is behind me and I dragged my painful self there and the GP text me to say they called, no call.......I was righ by my phone staring waiting and not one missed call because they never called. When 111 called the GP the GP finally called pissed off but sent all my medication to the pharmacist....do they see you face to face, no......I said to them my friend is a doctor in Africa and he did a phone consultation and my friend has now sent me antibiotics....my GP panicked worried what the antibiotics contained and sent me prescription for the antibiotic for one week but my friend sent me more so took the medicine for five weeks to heal my leg.....a year later they still have not done anything an leg issue back.....so have ordered more medicine again.....the GP saw me and was clueless and got another doctor to see my leg both not sure and now referring me to a dermatologist...for a year they kept thinking it is leg ulcer but all tests are normal and I am not diabetic....many doctors do not know what they are doing...at this rate better I fly to Nigeria to see a doctor...ever since my old Nigerian doctor retired all rubbish GPs...as for dentist my Italian dentist left and getting a decent dentist is hard....planning my retirement in Italy now...most people I know are flying out to Turkey for treatment....I will not go there because people are dying anyhow in Turkey besides on a stop over years ago the airport staff were rude to all of us so no.....I am trying to get a private health insurance instead.....
