Welcome to my channel Abhi's Vichar. This video is about extremely popular tv serial Star plus Mahabharat. It has great characterization bgm, music, sets and VFX. Although the serial was highly distorted. It has amazing performances by the lead actors. This serial has successful cult following and is very popular.

means Subhdra was not even born when Gada told to Arjun it's fully fake scriptures without any logic 🤣

In reality Arjun wanted to marry Subhdra same as he wanted to marry Chitrganda nothing new, even other Pandav's married too multiples.
‼️ Subhdra is whitewashed in TV serials cuz in reality Subhdra was not pregnant during Drauapdi's humiliation, she already gave birth to Abhimanyu.
But still she didn't went to Vanavas with Arjun.

They worked for it. Gathering slokas and composing songs from them for each and every prominent cast. Actors did justice to their parts. The roles of Draupadi, Krishna, Bheeshma, Karna, Arjuna, Bheem, Yudhishthir, Duryodhan best depicted, I can't think of any other version close to their acting. They kept a perfect balance between information, knowledge and entertainment. They made it like a drama but I liked it, A lot. Jab shree Krishna, I guess second last episode mai draupadi ko samjate hai ki yudh karna kyu jaruri tha. That episode is ❤❤.
Yes there are various things amazingly done in this serial!
I think, casting, dialogues, music, sets and vfx are the major plus points.
SRJ, Pooja and Shaeer's charm worked. I dont think any other actor is capable of portraying Draupadi like Pooja did.
Correct me if I’m wrong. Arjun-Subhadra never met in Hastinapur before their marriage. The whole Subhadra visiting Hastinapur was fake.
Arjun’s stay in Swarga, Ulupi’s curse was also missing.
Ashwatthama is shown in total negative role.
Personally I feel they should have shown some good Arjun-Draupadi bonding.

Aham Sharma's Portrayal Of Suryaputra Karn Was The Best Alongside Shourabh Raj Jain As Shree Krishna And Praneet Bhat As Mama Sakuni These 3 Were Perfect In Their Role. Especially The Way Aham Portrayed Karn It Was Almost Like I Was Watching Deewaar's Amitabh Bachchan.
Apart from every distortion...I feel that Distortion where Krishna stop the Time to give Teachings to Karn, Dronacharya and Bhishma....Is completely Justified and Perfect in Star Plus MAHABHARAT....It gives a Strong Social message to the Society regarding Dharma❤️🕉️
I love star plus mahabharat all actors dailog delivery so good , set pieces outstanding, ajay atul ka music full on goosebumps❤ . Shree Krishn character my favorite. Overall this mahabharat outstanding in that time no one can beat.❤

Jitne bhi abhi tak Mahabharat series bane hain wo sab sirf ache lagte hain matlab bahot paaribarik lagta hai,but Starplus waale Mahabharat ko bahot hi serious banaya gaya hai ,isko dekhoge toh jagah jagah par gussa aayega ,kabhi kabhi bahot maja aayega aur kabhi kabhi itna emotional moment create kiya gaya hai ki rone pe majboor ho jaaoge,khud ko rok hi nahi sakte ,dil mei tak dard hoga rone pe ,isko bahot hi serious banaya gaya hai....

The biggest complain from star plus mahabharat was the maker approach they approached mahabharat as family drama in my eyes mahabharat is best political drama ever written .

@@aloksahu5660 BRC Mhabharat is also not perfect but there is less focus on love angle , there is not women gossiping behind back or women fighting for men in brc mahabharat the main focus was on politics of throne of hastinapur in that show definitely not perfect when compared to real ved vysa mahabharat but far superior when compared to star plus Mahabharat . No hate to star plus mahabharat but they actually made it little bit daily soap opera type instead of that they should have gone to full game of throne mode in short star plus mahabharat missed a golden chance to create history on indian television .

Totally agree with you. Although the makers of this serial have taken creative liberty at the instances which should have been avoided, it was a well made serial compared to other shows which came up in recent times. Yes, there were many things that were distorted, like Arjun accompanying Krishna during Rukmini Haran, Draupadi visualising Arjun before her Swayamvar, Bhishma instructing Pandavas to attack him together on 10th day of the war and many more. But the actors, the way every scene was written makes it different from other serial s. This is the serial that has amazed me the most after BR Chopra Mahabharat.

While this serial is heavily distorted (I managed to count 65 distortions at one point, and I know I missed some), I still loved it for the reasons you have stated in this video, though BRC Mahabharata is still the best overall. But this version's Draupadi is much better than the BRC version.
In Suryaputra Karna, I found 25 distortions in just the last 10 episodes. You can imagine how many would be found if every episode is analyzed.
Amazing...Suryaputra is factually incorrect at many times, even distorted seems understated. It was only about glorifying one character at the cost of all characters, while mahabharat has so many strong characters.
@@abhisvichar7609 No kidding, distorted is a weak word for that serial. Of course even that one is nothing compared to Radha Krishna, which is even worse.

Also, 1. draupadi boon from mahadev of 5 husbands is not mentioned
2. No mention of Urvashis curse to arjuna.
3. Virat War wrapped up very shortly.

Thank you so much 💓 I know this mahabharat has uncountable mistakes but due to it's characterisations, sets, vfx, bgms, casts & dialogues I really love this show alot. Matlab iss show ke sath meri jo emotions hai na I really can't explain. The messages through their dialogues have a great impact on my life. I really loved those scenes between Krishna, Bheeshma, Drona & Karn alot though I know it was imaginary. True. Abhimanyu and Ashwatthama were badly written, while all characters were strong. Even I like the guy who played Shishupal..who was brilliant…

This show is successful because of our history Epic Mahabharat but some people overhyped this show see I'm from 2000s generation but for me BR Chopra Mahabharat always be on top. No one can beat Casting and their natural acting of BR Chopra Mahabharat but I got some error in this Star plus Mahabharat not about the story but about acting. Mainly in Kurukshetra war. But unfortunately some people always compare Even I'm also doing right now becoz of them. Mahabharat is Mahabharat their no word about which one is better people should understand but some people will critise me.

i remembered when the 1st time i saw this on tv by accident i was suprised bcs they are so handsome and pretty so even tho i dont really like classic series i watched it bcs their visual

The entire Mahabharat is huge, not possible to cover everything. Iravan is often ignored..he was a great warrior but got killed by Alambush. Then Ghatotkach killed Alambush to avenge his cousin's death. But in all the serials, Ghatotkach is shown for a limited time, where is intention was only to disarm Karn's Vajra

The only thing is that this mahabharat is not CRINGE like other sasta version of Mahabharat like spk and Radha Krishna serial. This serial was distorted badly still it gave many learnings and the thing why i like this show is that they kept the basic story of Mahabharat real. Also one good thing was that every scene had connection with the upcoming episodes. But one thing I don't like is that they added Shri Krishna's opinion where it was actually not his but that particular character's opinion. I mean ofcourse he is god and everything is happening because of his permission but i am saying this in a view of texts. And if i talk about character then only Draupadi's character was shown correctly in this mahabharat otherwise all the other characters were either shown less powerful or more than what they can actually do. Virat war was the biggest disappointment and funny as well. Satyaki kritverma was not shown even kripacharya was also not shown in the war. They also sympathized karna so much whereas he was the main culprit of few scenarios. But still this serial connects with the audience because of its bgm, vfx ,actors and learnings and also the bonding between the characters.
True and even they insulted many strong warriors like ashwathama Nakul sahadev by showing them weak
And didn't even show the whole rajsuy yagya when 4 pandavs won every 4 direction for yudhishthir

Makers were clear that they have taken puranik stories as reference point. It becomes easy to distort stories in the name of Puran as they have many times contradicting stories on the same topic. Same point of puranik stories were used by Devdut patnaik on his fiction and inspiration on mahabharata cum retelling "Jaya".

Yes, I am binge-watching the Mahabharata section of it.
I feel that most people belonging to generation of 2013 didn't actually know what was written in Mahabharat, plus nobody had seriously tried to make a TV show on a grand scale before this other than B R Chopra. So hardly anyone was offended by whatever deviations were there from actual text. Today's generation was not even aware of BRC Mahabharat before lockdown. We should not forget that even BRC Mahabharat was not 100% accurate to original text. I feel that some things were better in this version, while some were good in that one. What I didn't like about 2013 version is that they didn't complete the story of Mahabharat, while BRC version reached very close to completing it.

Best movie on Ramayana, sadly it was banned at its time because of incorrect news n agenda started by the Indian Express newspaper.
In my opinion it was even better than ramanand sagar ramayana ( no hate that ramayana it was also good) emphasis on hinduism in that movie is insane I cant even believe that movie wasn't even made by indian it was directed by yugo sako if that movie released today it would have been critical andre commercial acclamation if adipurush directors have some they should have copied that movie atleast it would have made movie little bearable .
@@sarikajoshi7156 Yes it was better. Ramanand sagar showcased sita as soft spoken, however she was harsh at many times. She was too harsh on lakshman just before the abduction..Valmiki Ramayan had humane characters..The Prince of legend ram is the best presentation on ramayana till now.
