1997 Toyota Prado Overlanding Transformation!

Watch as we transform this 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado into an overlanding beast, from start to finish.
The upgrades include a roof rack, an Ostrich Wing awning, a twin drawer system, a fridge slider with a fridge/freezer combo, and a double battery system. We also installed some overlanding necessities including water tanks, jerry cans, a high-lift jack, a gas cylinder, a wood box, a spade, and an axe.
Now it's ready for adventure!

That is alot of weight on the roof, just be careful. If you hit a hard pump with a heavy roof any weakness in the window screen it will crack, insurance will not pay if they find a overloaded roof ...

I have the 2002 Prado 95 series 3.4L V6 petrol, looks identical and similar mods excluding drawer system, love the car, had it for 11 years, unfortunately must sell as am relocating to Kenya, anyone interested 😊
