When you get one on ones with matchups you like, the ball really should go there 90% of the time. But the execution is bad, resulting in the WRs not winning like they should or the ball not being placed where it needs to be. And so the plays aren’t made and the offense fails.
Out of all of the bad Jets teams I've watched through the years, the Adam Gase era, the Zach Wilson era, Darnold getting mono and seeing ghosts, the butt fumble, this year is easily the most embarrassing out of all of them.
Yup. Cuz this year we had expectations and we've been disappointing at pretty much every faze. The def isn't that great anymore. Rodgers didn't "fix" the offense. Even Greg the leg can't kick anymore...
ironically, nathaniel hackett perfectly embodies the first syllable of his last name. friendly reminder for y’all that he didn’t even last a full season with the broncos
very true. the play is already a scheme. it is a picture ready to be drawn. changing everything on the fly is just scribbling on a paper and hoping people call it art.
Exactly. He's calling and changing plays. In order for that to be effective, you have to work with the guys to nail everything down and that doesn't appear to be the case. Maybe that trip to Egypt could have been used to run additional practices to get things right.
@@yourlocaltrucker313 Everything the Jets have done the past 2 years was to cater to him so he's not just one of the problems, he's the biggest problem.
Rodgers only objective is to show he's smarter than everyone I think he's proving the opposite. Matt Lafleur should get a retroactive coach of the year for winning with this guy.
He is one of those who thinks he is smarter than everyone that's almost every right wing nut I know is like that. They all think they know the TROOOF and everyone else are fools
it feels like Rodgers is running the offense like he is still playing with Randall Cobb and Jordy nelson and they got the million hours of practise in.
It doesn't feel like it, it is. He's doing the same thing he did for the packers just with an older tae who can't get open as easily and an older Rodgers with just a little less on it playing hero ball out there
As a Die Hard Green Bay Packers fan..... Aaron Rodgers should realize by now that.....Matt Lafluer offensive scheme helped him alot. Set plays RPOs Jet Motions Jet Sweeps Orbit Motions Bumper Motions etc That's the new wave offense that the NFL is running. He said on Pat McAfee "ima west coast system guy and sometimes I tell Matt can we run a few plays without motion and etc"
Its less what LaFleur runs more than how he sequences his plays and wanting his QB to play under center for play-action options. Which doesn't help Rodgers as he gets older. He would rather work passes to the perimeter behind the LOS on earlier downs to help set up deep shots he knows his receivers can win in isolation. He can make the middle of the field passes but he really needs that chemistry and trust with his receiver to be consistent with it. Especially if there isn't much time to throw with a crumbling pocket.
All that stuff disguised that he was a crappy QB huh? When I watched he amazed me. Alway scrambling out of trouble heaving the ball downfield to an open receiver. I used to woner how he do that. He don't scramble no more let before. The earth swallows him up a lot most Sundays.
@chrismachabee3128 not at all lol But the offensive scheme is to make things easier for him. But I believe he still has the arm talent.....it's just he gotta get with the times.
I get the feeling AR is not doing absolutely everything he can do to prepare(not even adding training camp). Its like he’s on cruise control and thought he could just wing it lmao
Older athletes underestimate how much leg strength is lost as you age. Parcells was fond of telling his older players that they have to do more to maintain what they have.
It's essentially a grift. He's getting paid to half-ass it, but gets to act like he is playing 3D Chess. It's why he needs his private friend to be his OC.
Yeah but at least he actually won on the packers. Now he’s just a shell of his old self who’s too arrogant to admit it. And in green bay he had the same receivers year after year so they could actually learn his bullshit over time. No wonder he tried to bring all his buddies with him to the jets
@@williamhermann6635 Heh. I don't even trust _this_ channel to get things right when it comes to analyzing play-calling. Not consistently anyway. Which is surprising as their exposé on Greg Roman's terrible offense on the Ravens was The Main Reason I started watching the NFL again after years of not. I crave this stuff. Got any other insights? I have a few myself about Fields, a few HCs & stuff I've never seen covered anywhere & I had my _suspicions about_ Rodgers. But I don't have all-access or all-22 & couldn't really tell what was him & what was his HCs. It doesn't help that both McCarthy & Lafleur fall to pieces when things don't go 100% right. Lafleur regains his composure at least, eventually, within games. But it makes seeing lapses in judgment hard to pin down. If Rodgers is imposing a lot of "His Things" then he should either have No Trouble At All reverting back to following his play-callers or adjusting if needed. In theory at least. But he doesn't which leaves me suspicious but I'm one of those rare people who prefers to say they don't know when that's the case. Got any good insights as besides the obvious let's say as to what's wrong with the Ravens' defense or what few things were right with the Raiders' offense?
@kingDrAgOnZoRdS For one year only: 2020. But then he reverted to form for their playoff loss. Then he heldout the next offseason and demanded full control over the offense, which he was given. Was able to play well in 2021, mainly due to Adams, and then fell apart in 2022 after Adams left. Now, even Adams isnt good enough to carry Rodgers anymore.
Dude, Rodgers is why they hired their OC and why no one, from the Head Coach to the Owner is allowed to question the offense. Rodgers is the entire problem and will be for any team dumb enough to have him on a roster next season.
They hired hackett before they got rodgers dipshit. The jets could have gotten a different OC and rodgers probably would've still went there because it was still the best fit. Think before u talk moron
Rodgers wants the power of the GM, head coach, and offensive coordinator, but none of the responsibilities or blame. Glad to see him get everything he asked for.
AS k Joe Douglas How long is Joe Douglas' contract? six-year Joe Douglas is in the last year of his six-year contract he signed after the draft in 2019. He took over a team that was reeling. There was a lot of work that needed to be done to turn this franchise around.4 days ago. That's It.
Rodgers has kind of always played like this. Incredibly talented but he often locks in on what he wants to throw before the play instead of just getting through his read and taking what's open. As he gets older and talent fades slightly, that shows even more.
Lets talk about the absolute dumb decisions the Jets have made the past few seasons. 1. Fired Robert Saleh when he was the defensive coach and the Defense has looked some of the best its ever been and hes a good scout. 2. Hired one of the worst Coaches in the league after a utterly terrible tenure with the Broncos (to please rodgers) 3. Didnt pay Bryce Huff even though hes Cheaper than Reddick 4. Got Reddick for 3rd only to not wanna pay his contract, and still refused when he held out 5. They drafted two RBs in the draft when they already had a legit RB Duo Already 6. Traded for 2 WRs from the Packers who were legit mid to slightly above average 7. Got Mike Williams didnt use him and then traded him after getting Adams 8. Didnt give Spencer Shrader a job 9. Kept Nathaniel Hackett after a abysmal coaching job when Arod went down to ACL tear 10. They are rumored to be paying Mike Williams contract while he plays for the Steelers 11. They are retaining Rodgers for another year after 2024 when its clear that he has been a constant problem for this organization because of preferential treatment. 12. Got Todd Downing after his terrible tenure with the Titans At this point I don't understand why anybody is a Jets fan at this point
Hey do you remember or know of the skyscraper movie that had a fire and almost every Hollywood male stars was in it, The Towering Inferno. That the Jets an ongoing disaster movie.
I remember someone describing Aaron Rodgers as being like an AI gone rogue. Initially whenever he made those adjustments in game, they tended to work more often than not. Then it just got out of control and it was the reason why Mike McCarthy was fired
Rodgers was like this at the end of his time in GB too. Ran sideline fades constantly and low low percent passes. It was not like that when he was younger.
@@burgerdaveee im hoping whatever new staff we hire will be enticed by the prospect of drafting a new qb of their choice, and only having to deal with arod for 2025
All the wise pundits moved the Jets from a sub .500 team to Super Bowl contenders as soon as they signed AAron Rogers. No one is as blind as one who doesn't want to see.
“This feels like a tug of war between Rodgers and the coaching staff.” Jets fans: Rodgers choose the coaching staff!!! How could this even happen when we did everything this guy wanted?! Why won’t you love us Rodgers?!?
my favorite part about this video is when I skipped the in video ad and immediately was hit with the 2 youtube ads before I immediately turned off the video
Nobody in this comment section actually watched the video. He hit the nail on the head. This is a coaching issue not a player issue. If rodgers making bad calls is sinking the team wheres the coach forcing him not to? Its not rodger's job to build a scheme thats a coaching job. And the collapse of their world-class defense cant be blamed on rodgers but it still happened
A problem with Rodgers of late is that he seems to think that, if the Jets don't know what's coming, neither will the defense; except, they DO know what's coming and nothing is working.
Rodgers is absolutely the problem. Somewhere about 7 or 8 years ago he stopped running the coaches plays and just started playing hero ball. Every play is him thinking he has to be Superman. He’s been gone from Green Bay for almost 2 years and we see LaFleur’s true offense now.
Rodgers wanted Hackett. He got it Rodgers wanted Lazard. He got it Rodgers wanted Saleh gone. He got it And now they're just as bad if not worse than they were before he got there 🤷♂
Sure, this is not ideal. But that is not why they are losing. The team stopped playing defense, the unit is terrible since the firing. The special teams has been bad all season, they have two more wins if the kicker is efficient. They scored 27 this week, that should be enough to win.
Plague rats were personally likeable at least. That's why they were around to spread the plague. Aaron Rogers is more like a particularly mean brown rat.
Excellent video. And honestly you could do the same video about the Bengals. We have the same issues with trying to emulate the Rams running game (with an old Rams coach) but don't have the WRs to block for it. We also only go under center to run the ball, just as described with the Jets. We don't rely on scheme to get guys open, we just line up (frequently with TEs or the RB out wide to try and engineer WR matchups in the slot and identify coverage, just as described in the video) and let Joe can plays and find whichever matchup he likes better vs Chase or Tee. This is also a big reason why the offense has struggled a lot of times without Tee out there, because Chase then gets all the attention and Zac doesn't scheme an offense to get anybody open he just relies on Chase. No better evidence than when Burrow got hurt last year and suddenly the offense transformed with Browning, into one that goes under center a lot but not just to run the ball, used way more play action, and worked way better than it should've given the QB. And it got Callahan a HC job. Put Burrow in the Browning offense. But no, "Joe doesn't like going under center" and they only install plays they run by him first etc.
The Taylors are fraudulent player caller brothers really. Zac being slightly better because he finds a way to temporarily patch up the run to pass deal with the play calling but ultimately has to default to Burrow playing in his preferred shotgun formation. Thing is any threatening run game even with good design and good enough O-line to execute it needs to have the QB play under center. Which really caps Burrow's ceiling even though he can generate scores in the pass game playing his preferred spread and shred style.
Remember the jets players said they were a quarterback away from going to the superbowl. It was crazy to think an old Aaron Rodgers who came off of Achilles injury was going to be great. The jets had a better with Zach and White as their QBs. Tom Brady was an exception to the rule.
@@chrisk3405 I'm likely alone in this, but I think that their real best selection was right there & they didn't see it. Fields. This will take some 'splaining, which I'll do if anyone asks.
@@chrisk3405 Like I said, long tale. We *are* on a channel of analysis & I _could show_ some. But lemme show you two things that indicate what we think we know about him is false. 1) He set accuracy _records_ in college. People want to dismiss this saying his receiving corps was the reason. But that makes no sense. This is a % stat. & who thinks that they wanted to look at how accurate the QBs were, couldn't tell the difference between accurate throws & receivers adjusting to inaccurate passes but still claimed they did so? So it *was* all him. 2) "He can't read defenses." Except ruclips.net/video/QuhUbISnr8s/видео.html *proves with stats* that Fields actually reads them at an Elevated Level. & since this is something one can't unlearn, he still does. We're seeing here what a QB calling audibles does to undermine plays. The opposite is true as well & I find it laughable that people are sticking to their "Fields sucked & it isn't due to the play-calling" when his former OC was the first to get fired this year, the same o-line plays people are now blaming on Waldron are actuall being defended by *Eberflus* who is throwing players under the bus over them as if they were his plays (they are) & were also being called last season. Like we see in the 1st 23 minutes of ruclips.net/video/FiiK21VzI_o/видео.html. & I'm not even _close_ to done. Fields was undermined, possibly from day 1 first by Nagy's incompetence (is *he* slowing down the Chiefs)? Then afterwards by... maybe incompetence as well.
Loved how in depth yet easy to understand this video was. It’s the first time i’ve come back to a channel because I was left wanting more in a while. (it was also great to watch my Cardinals beat up on the Jets again)
I’m going to keep saying this: Joe Namath must have made an incredible deal with the devil for their 1968 Super Bowl win. (Kidding of course but it looks like it).
He’s like late Big Ben, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Peyton Manning. •They want to look at a defense and read it out and never want to turn their back to it. •Their reduced athleticism drastically hampers the under center game making it harder to run the ball and making it easier for the defense to figure out whats what. •None of them wanted to be hit anymore and they would straight up kill plays rather than make a throw through contact.
Bucs Brady was still okay making a throw through contact. He just wasn't about doing too much of it early in the season just to win a games because the offense is sluggish. Rather he would want to save that for January.
Wow this is like the opposite problem of the Philadelphia Eagles collapse of late 2023. The Eagles offense became too dependent on the shotgun and screen passes that they failed to properly prepare for match ups or leave the scheme open for big plays. Now Aaron Rodgers thinks he can just change the scheme up on the fly for each defensive matched up and the rest of the O-Line will follow. In both cases it's dumb coaching that forces your team to adopt a philosophy of play and doesn't let your players do what they do best. Except Aaron Rodgers is doing it it because he can and not even the coaching staff is capable of telling him no.
Awesome breakdown Alex. It's great to get some clarity from the film and your analysis when there are so many unsubstantiated opinions swirling around, like "Rodgers is cooked" or "Garrett Wilson is trash" lol. Seems like Rodgers needs to get over himself and let the play caller call the plays, not try to throw a fade every other drop back. It's clear from watching the games that the offense "just isn't clicking," but without this kind of analysis it's impossible for the fans to actually understand why. Great stuff!
Rodgers came to New York off the worst season of his career and has stunk it up. Already costed Saleh his job and is likely going to cost Joe Douglas his too, shameful.
It amazes me how much people ignored his ‘22 season when he went to the Jets. GB missed the playoffs that year, and he took a huge step back from his MVP seasons.
@@t4d0W I mean that is my point, most Jets fans were acting like he would be the same. A team begging for long term stability at a position shouldn't put themselves in a spot to rely on a 40 year old.
Jets need to cleanse the entire front office... The Jets run a barberic offense no modern day gadget misdirection motion plays.. it's not going to get better no time soon
Rodgers is THE problem. As well as the front office for allowing him to be the problem. He isnt the ridgers from even 3 years ago. He makes bad throws, lacks mobility, has doodoo calls. They have Wilson and Adams. Thats insane WR 1 and 2. Breece hall is very solid too. Yet, their offense looks like assssssssssssss.
4:23 Conklin just ran a horrible route, doesn’t have to do with the scheme. A lot of these mistakes can be contributed to individual mistakes and not a problem with the scheme
I'm Australian and fairly new to NFL (picked it up during lockdown) and I don't know the strategic side of it very well yet. BUT what I do know well is Psychology, and Rodgers' behaviour strongly resembles Self-Handicapping. For those who don't know what that is it's a paradoxical self-esteem defence, where you subconsciously stack the deck against yourself to effectively ensure failure, but fail in a way that has a built-in excuse. We tend to see this in individuals low on confidence, or whose ability is failing for one reason or another. It seems to me that Rodgers is motivated to try this kind of high-risk strategy because he can shrug and say "Well, yeah it didn't work, but it was a really hard thing to do, not my fault". Now, I'm not saying that Rodgers is deliberately meaning to do this, as I said earlier, Self-Handicapping is subconscious, or at best, semi-conscious. What he needs is a firm hand from his coach to point out the damage he's doing to the team, and to put a stop to it at once. Because at the end of the day, he's putting other peoples' careers in jeopardy while his own livelihood and legacy is completely secure.
Rodgers clearly won't be an offensive coordinator in the future. I mean, I'm sure he thinks that beneath him and all, but damn this is such a waste of everyone's talent. Another year of wear and tear on Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson. Shame.
Long time Packers fan. This is a spot on diagnosis of the Rodgers problem. He got away with this when he was the most talented thrower I've ever seen on a football field. As the saying goes, you can't actually defend a perfect pass. And he used to throw the perfect pass more often than not. But he's simply not that guy anymore. He's an older guy who can't be a super hero 8 out of 9 times he drops back. He also isn't working with guys he spent years and years honing timing and being fully in sync with. The tension between the real LaFleur offense and Rodgers's take on it the last couple years was noticeable even to a more casual fan like myself. Young receivers could never function in Green Bay because they needed to not learn an offense but learn Rodgers' idiosyncratic preferences and earn his "trust". He is still talented enough to play the game manager and make good reads to take what a schemed offense gives him. But he is not capable of checking his ego enough to do what Sam Darnold or Baker Mayfield are accomplishing with less talent on other teams.
GB's OC Adam Stenavich said there were many times when Rodgers was running plays that weren't even in the playbook and had secret hand signals that only his best buds like Adams and Lazard and Cobb knew, that's no way to run an offense.
Humm. This does seem to highlight the issues. Add the collapse of the d and you get 3-8. But why is this so hard to see for the rest of them. It’s like a contractual agreement that needs to play out.
Before I even hit play I was like "No way does Nathaniel go by without being mentioned." That dude should not be coaching at the NFL level. Maybe a QB coach, idk, but definitely not a coordinator or HC!
AR5 looked much better...but the Jets defense has been awful since they fired Saleh. I'm interested to see if he can keep his play at this level going forward.
Aaron Rodgers is another sad story of a mega-ego prima donna sports star that ruins a franchise's chance of success. For the long-term good of the franchise, the Jets need to jettison (pun intended) Rodgers, hire a strong head coach that will instill order and discipline and rebuild. Thanks for nothing, Rodgers--take your millions and your outsized ego and go away.
Yes and no. They had been building towards an opening window but the QB they had inteded to develop for that didn't come through. Rodgers was an attempt at a plug-in solution - that doesn't seem to be working out so far. But that move itself isn't what's ruining the franchise.
@@Nitrox-. I actually do think that Rodgers himself is a significant part (not all) of the demise of the franchise. He is an extremely corrosive presence that undermines the authority of the coaching staff and head office IMHO. I have to think that he is probably a very divisive person in the locker room as some veterans might realize that they are wasting their careers on a team with him and his "me-first" attitude.
Rodgers is the issue. He was the issue in Green Bay. He's a coach killer. He thinks he's smarter than everyone. He's a bit of a prick. He's damn near estranged from his family if that tells you anything
Also, the Rodgers throwing all fades is reminiscent of the 49ers-Packers playoff game in the snow a few years ago. He kept trying to throw to Davante against Josh Norman IIRC. On paper, it was a good matchup for the Pack...
So you say Rodgers isn't the problem. Then immediately say that Rodgers is running the offense. That makes him at least most of the problem. I agree with the idea that they're trying to win based on talent and not scheme. Andy Reid and Bill/Brady i think have proven that scheme gets far more milage out of your team than just flying by the seat of your pants.
This is why the Jets had more success with Zach Wilson last year. They could run whatever they wanted without Rodgers constantly putting the offense 3 steps behind.
I disagree that constant changes at the line is causing issues. Prime Peyton did this all the time. It boils down to poor coaching and a incompetent QB. You need a good QB to succeed with good coaching.
They arent remotely the same. Peyton and Brady made play changes when they were warranted. And also from a choice of 1-2 options the team was already aware of. For instance, changing the run play going right to the same play going left based on the D front. Or backing out from a run to a pass bc the D front was stacked. But the pass and run audibles were established in the huddle or earlier. It wasn't any pass play. It was the pass audible the team knew their assignments in advance. And most of the comments brady and manning made on the line were identifying the mike and blocking schemes. Not actually changing plays entirely. What rodgers is doing is vastly different. He's taking whatever the original play was and then switching to whatever he wants based on seeing who devante has covering him. And then get the receivers, D line, and rbs all on board within the play clock. He's also changing plays that were setup for success before he altered them. And critically he's preventing the long game of setting up other plays later in the game from the same formations. Basic stuff. Rodgers just isn't that bright (obv given his covid aliens nonsense) and w prime diva. A horrible combo. His fighting w lefluer tells the entire story. Aaron kept changing the plays and ruining the system then blaming everyone but himself. He leaves and love comes in with less talent around him and crushes.
they arent practicing those schemes during practice. Aaron is calling his recievers into different spots and calling their routes. This is extremely evident with davante getting 13 targets but only 30 yards. But thanks for opening your mouth and showing just how ignorant u are.
Excellent commentary. The sad part is that Aaron Rodgers does not want to use more complex schemes or develop better communication with his teammates because he needs to devote that extra time to doing the Pat McAfee show and other talk shows so he can develop his after football persona and career. Football is actually his side hustle and his Darkness retreats and trips to Egypt instead of immersing himself into devising and developing winning combinations to be successful on the football field is simply NOT a priority and this has been the case with him since he won his SuperBowl in 2010. In his mind he has already been to the mountain top and unfortunately he continues to command large salaries when he really does not exhibit the intangibles to lead a team to strive for a SuperBowl. He has everyone fooled. Aaron is not a winner and he is not like Elite QB's who strive to win a SB every season that they put on their uniform. And nobody that has really looked at Aaron Rodgers dispassionately throughout his career would come to a different conclusion. 0:04
Scheme based football or "the game within the game" vs pure talent has always been a fight in the game of football with people arguing which is better. Some argued that scheme was all it took, that a good enough playbook and good enough coach can elevate a roster to a championship while others argued that scheme can also defeat scheme and so talent has to be the deciding factor. Ultimately both matter. Scheme is there to spread the load and give teams more consistency and endurance while pure talent is there for situational football. Good teams combine the two and give players the responsibility to protect the football while applying both. Aaron Rodgers was never a scheme guy, he sat behind Brett Favre who was also never a scheme guy and learned how to be a better gunslinger but never learned "the game within the game". He's an incredible talent but mentally he is always playing hero ball thinking the only way to win on any down is to out throw every defender. He takes all of that on his shoulders and it made him both narcissistic and drove him crazy. He's a Tim Tebow with a better arm but without mental balance and it makes him implosive and unable to lead the team psychologically. His hero ball style feeds into his teammates who also play hero ball wherever they go. This locker room cancer gets coaches fired and gives him too much power to decide the playbook to his hero ball liking. Teams continue to invest in the hero ball quarterback and with enough offensive line talent and a lucky schedule it produces an MVP season but that style always gets exposed in the playoffs. He's now 41, he is who he is, if he wants to win a championship he's going to have to take criticism and dial everything back and embrace his teammates, but that's going to be hard because he's 41.
After the last few games every Opp knows what to do. Just double Adams whenever possible. Rodgers isn't changing up plays to get Wilson and Adams involved, hes changing it up and trying to force the ball to Adams constantly.
The worst part is that the Jets pass blocking is ridiculously good this season ends they are wasting it,they are only allowing a 15% pressure rate (league average is 33.4%).
Rodgers said multiple times he'd rather have that mvp over another super bowl. Dude doesn't care about anyone but himself, and just like the cowboys, it's great to see these dumpster fires
Hackett “whatever he does” … the Broncos fired that guy immediately because they aren’t sure what he does either. He’s not a real coach. He’s Rodgers personal yes-man. He should not be in the league.
This is something the NBA needs to figure out and the NFL needs to be careful of and that is players should not be defacto GMs and coaches. There's a reason GMs and coaches exist. The jets are victims of bad personnel decisions and coach hiring decisions.
Aaron Rodgers' problem is he has an insatiable need to prove he is the smartest person in the room. That bleeds into his influence on coaches (Hackett being OC), players (getting his guys on the team), and during the actual game (constantly changing plays). Rodgers has always been a poor leader but in the past his talent would bail him out. This year, his talent has signficantly degraded so Rodgers' deficiences that have been there all this time are being magnified.
This reminds me of the KD, Kyrie, and Harden nets. A team that on paper looks good amazing but in practice is mediocre. You’re not gonna get far assuming talent will win you games, if you can’t scheme up stuff that talent won’t matter.
The fact that over the years Rodgers has prioritized half understanding everything except football you see how little capacity he has to coordinate a successful offense.
I’d say it is Rodgers fault. He’s supposed to bring the scheme with him from GB. I thought this was gunna be more like Brady when he signed with Tampa. That sure as hell wasn’t Bruce Arians offense that won a SB

I am going to have to disagree with your initial statement that Rodgers isn't THE problem. It sure seems like he is.
Exactly. He's calling and changing plays. In order for that to be effective, you have to work with the guys to nail everything down and that doesn't appear to be the case. Maybe that trip to Egypt could have been used to run additional practices to get things right.
It’s not Rodgers’ fault. Nothing is ever his fault, and nothing ever will be

That's the new wave offense that the NFL is running.

But to be fair, when Rodgers accepted the scheme of LaFleur, it was a joy to watch. Should have won the SB 2020.
Rodger is absolutely one of the teams biggest issues. He’s playing like garbage
Rodgers wanted Hackett. He got it
Rodgers wanted Lazard. He got it
Rodgers wanted Saleh gone. He got it
And now they're just as bad if not worse than they were before he got there 🤷♂
Sure, this is not ideal. But that is not why they are losing. The team stopped playing defense, the unit is terrible since the firing. The special teams has been bad all season, they have two more wins if the kicker is efficient. They scored 27 this week, that should be enough to win.
I'm really glad the Packers are rid of that plague rat.
Thanks brother! I'd contend y'all are good on offense, but the defense has been atrocious. But yeah, Taylor doesn't feel long for this world
The Taylors are fraudulent player caller brothers really.
Lmao they’re only a quarterback away if that qb is mahomes, josh allen, joe burrow, or lamar jackson

I’m going to keep saying this:
Joe Namath must have made an incredible deal with the devil for their 1968 Super Bowl win.
Brady and manning never had a problem turning their back to the defense.

Not even CLOSE to what the video said bruh

Shame.
Clearly. Its literally clear of Aaron. Call me crazy but the Jets offense looked better under Zach Wilson
The dig at Richardson aged like fine wine.
You open with saying Rodgers isn’t the problem but then every issue you state starts with Aaron Rodgers.
He makes it pretty clear the problem is leadership & coaching
It’s time to revisit the Broncos and Bo Nix
Humm. This does seem to highlight the issues. Add the collapse of the d and you get 3-8. But why is this so hard to see for the rest of them. It’s like a contractual agreement that needs to play out.
Before I even hit play I was like "No way does Nathaniel go by without being mentioned."
That dude should not be coaching at the NFL level.

Conceptually, somewhat similar to the Power I/Shotgun combo offense we ran my sophomore year of high school.
Also, the Rodgers throwing all fades is reminiscent of the 49ers-Packers playoff game in the snow a few years ago. He kept trying to throw to Davante against Josh Norman IIRC. On paper, it was a good matchup for the Pack...
This is why the play calling and design should be up to the OC/HC and not the QB.
It’s almost like Nathaniel Hackett wasn’t qualified for this job and only got the job because he’s friends with Aaron Rodgers.
Nepotism at its finest
Fantastic analysis tying what happened at end of Rodger's run in GB to now in NY
Thanks brother!
As a Breece Hall fantasy owner, Jets and Aaron Rodger have been a sad shit to watch
No QB in the las 30 years was better at calling their own plays than Big Ben. The Steelers offense hummed when he would call plays during drives

I was hoping a new team would lock down on Rodger's nonsense
This reminds me of the KD, Kyrie, and Harden nets. A team that on paper looks good amazing but in practice is mediocre. You’re not gonna get far assuming talent will win you games, if you can’t scheme up stuff that talent won’t matter.
I know Hackett isn't calling plays anymore, but is he still in charge of the offense?
Thats because the real coordinator and play caller is AR just making it up every down lol
The fact that over the years Rodgers has prioritized half understanding everything except football you see how little capacity he has to coordinate a successful offense.
The Offensive line is part of the problem. Tippman, Alijah vera tucker and the Left tackle has played poorly all year. Blowing one on one assignments
I’d say it is Rodgers fault. He’s supposed to bring the scheme with him from GB. I thought this was gunna be more like Brady when he signed with Tampa. That sure as hell wasn’t Bruce Arians offense that won a SB
I'll tell you right now brady wasn't running the Arians offense.
