Sea Fishing UK - Wales! Fishing the new fishing platform at Colwyn Bay.

No boats out to day folks so we're headed to North Wales.
After a 3 hour drive we called in at Rhos Tackle Shop to grab some bait and get a bit of advice of where we go for a spot of fishing.
We decided on the new fishing platform at Colwyn bay.
Rag was the top bait and 3 hook flappers the winning rig.
3 dogfish pulled out today, all in great condition and returned safely to fight another day.

Our aim as a group is to get some kind of sponsor so that we can promote sea fishing. Being from in land I had very little support towards sea fishing when I first started. And life does get busy, so, maybe it’ll be a bit easier if there’s someone that’s willing to help, lend you a rod and reel, bait up your hook or just take the pressure off in general.

Platform designed for fishing chaos. Council put this up because a mile of fishing prom can no longer be used by up to 100 fishermen when the mackerel are in. No consideration given to amenity value and access to beach . for Anglers or beach goers and dog walkers.
