@@stasikdim7776And What are you saying right here I can’t Understand! WHAT THE HECK!
Great vid! 😊
Im taking this flight next month, departure 8:50AM PST, going to record with my iphone 14 pro
Never noticed the inboard aileron (flaperon?) on the 777 doing this [29:58] at the beginning of takeoff roll, or this [30:16] during takeoff roll
Yep this is a feature of the 777 FBW system. All 777 models have this flaperon behavior on takeoff
@@haroldlipschitz9301 Thanks 👍🏿
@@oubrioko I think this is called a flaperon dance and the 787 also has this unique feature too. I think how it works is that the spooling up of the engines lowers the hydraulic pressure keeping the flaperon in place (notice how it droops slightly) and then the aircraft speeds up, causing the air under the flaperon to bring it back up into place. The hydraulic pressure is then restored and the flaperon is pushed back down into place. I might be wrong but I think that it would make sense for this phenomenon.
@@inflightentertainment101it’s intentional. Your explanation is correct, but the reasoning I was told was to reduce the stress on the servos from the turbulent jetblast.
N213UA is a B777-200, not a B777-300ER
Yup just caught it and changed it to N2737U the actual tail number, copy pasted the information from another flight and forgot to change the tail number. Thanks!
