A quick video showing me updating from OpenCore legacy patcher 2.0.0 nightly which is the beta version to 2.0.0. The same method is used to update from opencore 1.5.0. but now 2.0.1 just appeared as I was updating to Sequoia. Watch my live stream of me doing the updates.

Glad to see your using oclp! Great!!!
I installed 2.0.0 last night and today my Mac mini 2014 booted up Sonoma to weird graphic glitches. I updated OCLP to 2.0.1 and it went away, FYI
Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Updated from 1.5 to 2.0.1. Wallpapers and screensavers no longer work and crashed my 5,1. Reverted back to 1.5 all ok.
I don't see the boot partition on sequoia after reboot... I don't know why
Does Mac OS Sequoia include drivers for RDNA3 graphics cards such as RX7900XTX for Mac Pro 7.1?
I have a question what if you’re still on the Martin lo version? 5,1 mac pro
I would stay there with Monterey and MLOC if it is a computer you mainly rely on.
@@MacSoundSolutions I'm still on Big Sur. it is my main machine n I don't like Monterey lol would prefer sonoma or sequoia one day. 😢
@@Vicbp23 With Martin Lo OC package I found Monterey to be great and rock solid.
I have a problem with the patches. When I start the root patch, it starts normally but gets to the "Rebuilding Boot and System Kernel Collections" part and after a while it fails. I can't patch it, I don't know why (2.0.0 nightly, 2.0.0 and 2.0.1).

Maybe try rebuilding opencore on aThumb drive so you can boot using it and then uninstall OCLP on your macs hard drive using the OCLP app then rebuild and install to your drive again, you can also select your model Mac when going to install it instead of letting the app decided. Is your iMac on the compatible list? If that doesn’t work you can try reinstalling the system from scratch to the thumb drive instead of just doing an update. But there are some known bugs so you might be. Better off going back to what was previously working for you.
I know if you're doing a major OS update like sonoma to sequoia, you are required to update your OCLP.
But Do you even have to update opencore if you're NOT doing a major update? I'm just sticking to ventura and OCLP 1.5 is working just fine. No bugs.
Don't update, if it's working there is no need, the update is so you can install Sequoia and there are some issues.

Installed ios15 on iMac 17,1 and no wifi. It says it is connected but no internet. Root patches apolied twice but no internet.
Seems to be an issue for many folks something to do with firewall software not getting updated by Apple, try turning firewall off has fixed it for some.
I had exact the same on Macbook Pro late 2015. Some people said uninstall Little snitch and it fixed wifi. I did same on iMac but still no internet connection… I’ll try firewall
I found that in advanced settings for the firewall there is still Little snitch enabled network filtering (even it is uninstalled). Turned that off, firewall ON and internet working normal. Hope this helps others with same problem.
@@aleksandarbaksunovic I could not find that in my settings under firewall I will post your reply on my new video might help folks thanks
@@aleksandarbaksunovic I looked and could not find any network filter menu or advanced? Where is it exactly?
