Y'know... this theme really says a thousand words. As we already know, it remixes Fragments, which is not only the Game Over theme (I didn't even know there was one... I used Save Assists on the Legacy Collection. Omega ain't sending me to that screen for sure), but also the theme for sad scenes like Giro's death. This lattermost one is important. Not only do Vent/Aile want to protect those close to them, to ensure no one suffers the same fate they did twice. But there's also one other thing on their mind: Revenge. Right now, they can only think about Serpent having taken everyone they held dear away from them, as they make their way through the Slither Inc. building. This theme really exacerbates how they're... losing the plot along the way, being the last food for Model W, until their Biometals remind them of their real mission, so they don't become a ball of negativity like Serpent has. This is well seen in ZX Advent. Ashe/Grey assumes Vent/Aile is out for revenge after losing their loved ones, but they've moved past that. There are truly no redeeming qualities about Serpent, as well as his monkey, Purprill. They're monsters. Especially the latter since additionally, STOP RUINING MY LV4'S WITH YOUR ARMS YOU LITTLE F- hold up I need to recollect myself. Don't wanna become food for Model W myself. Also unrelated, man this final stage gives me Streets of Rage vibes. Elevators? Check. Office building final stage? Check. Antagonist is a corrupt man whose forces take over as officers? Check. Boss rush on final stage? Check for the first game. Game even has a boss that looks like a series protagonist? Sure! Why not?

Mandatory Pseudoroid/Megamen Battle never sounded sooooo BEAUTIFUL!!!
this song is some sad and epic.
Eu conheci essa música na Hack de Castlevania Dawn of Dissonance do NDS em The Dark Chapel
This is amazing, the weird sounds in the b section are a bit unsettling though
That’s kinda the point.
Pues se trata de pelar con un villano que mató mucha gente y a la vez epico el song

This is just Fragments, but a stage, don't believe me? Play then at the same time/compare the two
I believe you. What if it's actually the theme of Serpent and his forces?
