- Thanks to Bob AKA Jollibeefan for sending me new needles so long ago, I'm just now getting around to making an update video, though I have been enjoying this thing ever since! Lots of fun. Better than an I-Pod, and much heavier!
Good to see that the needles helped you get it right ! Sounds good even through this video. I used to have a pair of University 312 Speakers in the 60's. University Sound used to be located in White Plains, NY not far from where I lived. Those were the days ! Thanks for the update !
Operating great! I would love to have the 'player section' as well and hock it up to something else - terrific idea!
Great video! I need some new needles myself. You should build a cabinet for the mechanism, like those old Seeburg Library units. Very nice!
@xmvirus202 Yes, I should build a cabinet for it! I say the same thing to myself everytime I listen to it. I'm thinking of a cross between a library unit and a display jukebox with speakers, as I have a nice set of speakers that will go with it.
Whoa, Sweet!! Thats neat
Hi, I see you know your stuff there, i just bought a seeburg matador with a sound problem , hope i could fix it . it makes a bromming sound. but you are doing a good job there .
i have a seeburg ds160 it rotates , but would not take a record from the magazine. any idea what it could be
is there a drawing somewhere of what you did to make this happen? as i have a slow playing machine with the "speed controller" and you have NO speed controller box anywhere to be seen! i wish to do the very same to my WHOLE jukebox as i rebuild her, to "exercise" all the parts gently into use, but, want it to stop at each 1, play it, replace it, then pick up the next 1, and so on, and so on, till it switches directions and sides
till i finish rebuilding the coin gear and mechanisms and the speed controller box to get her back to 100%
+dragonfli069 update, she's picking up and dropping records now, coining up, but sliding back and forth are stubbourn, allowing selection on keypad, but only loading via tripped levers, otherwise playing flawlessly!
Can anyone help me at all? I don’t know too much about the way this works and I can’t get mine to move on the track , or get the needle to move automatically without me pushing it? I put the coin in and nothing really happened
Auto reverse record player :)
