Galaxy Buds Pro is the only one that sounded good to me through my DT1990 Pros. It sounded extremely full compared to others but I think listening to them in person might be a different experience.
Just bought a set of Galaxy Buds2 today. I've had some mid range earbuds before, usually lose them or they quit working. These things sound fantastic!! By far the best sounding earbuds I've ever heard. I do need to play with the ear tips though, they are kind of hard to get a proper seal in my ear. The active noise cancelling is great, and the features are well thought out.
I've loved my pixel buds, the second gen, 3rd gen (non pro) and I've love them, but my galaxy buds 2 pro come tomorrow and I'm so excited. I've never had noise canceling anything. My non-techy wife used your video to decide to get them for my birthday present ❤ thank you!
I have the Buds Pro and I will say this: the sound is flawless... All types of music sounds incredible and the bass range is really impressive {along with the clarity of instruments, which is also impeccable}! [If you have these... use the "NORMAL" EQ! Not Bass Boost or any of the others]
Great video! You have done a great job comparing the sound quality of the earbuds and I have been looking for a video like this for some time now. Now I know I don't have to waste my money buying the galaxy buds 2 because is not a good upgrade from the galaxy buds plus. The galaxy buds pro will be a worthy upgrade. Thank you very much, bro. Keep the good work going.
I watched your review on whether I should get the Buds Pro or Buds 2. Was intrigued to buy the Pro for $110 but when I saw Buds 2 for just $50, it's just a steal! Pretty happy with my Buds 2 now and thank you for helping me choose which one is the best bang for my buck. Will still upgrade down the line if they choose to release Buds Pro 2!
I got the buds pro fist but returned them as they hurt my ear and fell out all the time , so I bought the buds 2 and actually like them much better because they don't hurt my ear and are comfortable and I thought for me they sounded good , plus i got them for 69 dollars
I have the Galaxy buds live, and they feel the most comfortable and sound great with plenty of bass. The bass is a great compliment to games and action movies.
I was looking for earphones for my mom and I found the buds+ for her but I wasn't exactly shopping for my self either but I may have to treat myself to buds pro as well too. Ironic that this video was published today as well this was clutch👏🏽. Keep up the great work!!!!!
What a fantastic review. I came into this video having NO CLUE which version I wanted and left knowing exactly which to get. Not only did I know which ones I wanted, I can rank them all by preference based on the data you provided. 10/10 video in every aspect. Upvoting this isn't even a judgment call.
You really changed my decision, i was thinking about buying airpod pro but its too expensive and i just watched your helpful video so I decided to buy buds pro instead of airpods Thank u soooo muchhhhhh
I don't understand why the Buds 2 sound so thin in the Singer-Songwriter test. Something must be wrong with the fit on the testsetup. I get that the Pro's are better, but that thin sound is not how the 2's sound tho.
Proud owner of samsung buds pro here too, Well on first release, I found out battery is pretty decent, but After a few updates, more features and more battery life optimizations have come and become better
@@christianmarielabrousse1376 I use the smaller buds and it fits perfectly. Does not come off my ears easily. I do have to adjust them from time to time but overall it fits my ears very well
Thank you soooo much for this stupidly high quality review, really wish every channel would do a comparison like this. Now I know I'm waiting for the pros to go on sale rather than spending money on the 2s, from other reviews I couldn't know the difference in sound would be that big
@@NOVAPOINTYT just got it... And the ANC is the star... U can't listen anything around you even at 60% volume... I have kinda big ear so the fit is perfect for me... No pain in the ears... And i love the way they sounds... They also don't fall off during heavy work session too...
This was probably the best conparison I've seen! Thank you so much. Been looking for so long for what buds to buy and this vid really helped me make a final decision on the pros. Thank you!
I love the live for work. They just rest in your ears... I did have to play with them a bit when I first got them to find a comfortable fit, but once you have them positioned correctly, they are really comfortable and I can wear them all day. I work in a quiet office environment so I don't need to block out a lot of sound and frankly, I need the be aware of what's going on around me at work, so I like that you can still hear with them in... The noice canceling really doesn't do anything... The sound quality and volume are also really good for what they are, but they're not a heavy duty earbud that you're gonna want to wear for working out, or in a noisy environment. They have never fallen out at work, but they have fallen out when I was doing light chores around the house. Fortunately, they are durable, so they still work just fine even after hitting the floor on more than one occasion. So, while I love them for work, what brought me here is that I want a better fitting earbud with good sound quality and noise cancelling for when I'm being more active than sitting at a desk. This has to be the best review I have ever heard and I've listened to a few. Thank you for using the binural ears so we could actually hear how they sound. I'm going to go for the pro and hope that they will be comfortable in my ears.
I've got 2 of these, the ones in the pill shaped box and the pro's. I run 10k a day in the pro's and they're brilliant. I've strugged relentlessly over the years with buds from all makes and shapes dislodging making the bass go and disorientating me. These never do that and manage that with no wings, clips or any protrusions. I've never had a warning that the battery is going flat either.
i have tried both the buds 2 and the buds pro, I find this to be a very good an accurate review, but when it came to the pros, I decided to downgrade to the 2s because of the horrible design. yes they sound good, but their design and fit is their only flaw, in my opinion.
To my amateur, untrained, and non discerning ear the Buds Pro sound the best to me. Thanks for this video. I've been looking to pick up a set of wireless earbuds so I've been watching a bunch of reviews. This is the first one where I could actually hear the difference in the audio instead of just what the reviewer says. I'm not an audiophile so I don't really have a really sensitive ear to music.
I got the Galaxy Buds + pretty much when they came out and have had them for 2 years very solid earbuds ( although it doesn't have ANC I've found the seal keeps out most the noise when playing music )
The galaxy buds pro sounds way ahead when you test them side by side. Im really happy someone made this video. Plus buds pro only cost a little more than the others compared to how better the sound is among the rest
I had +, live and pro. All grate. Still alternating between pro and live. For me live ticks most of the boxes. Comfortable - can use all day, literally 18h non stop.
I have had the galaxy buds 2 for a few weeks now and they sound way better than what they sound like in the video, Samsung makes the audio quality worse on non Samsung devices just like Apple with their Airpods, I have a galaxy book (Laptop) and a galaxy phone, these buds sound excellent when they are connected to them. I connected them to another phone which is not a Samsung to see if they sound worse and they did. I am saying that you should get the galaxy buds 2 if you have a Samsung phone.
Yes you are right. Love the buds 2.. the comfort and the lightweight alone is a win for me. After the updates, I hear no significant difference from my friend's buds pro and the buds2.. well maybe it's just me
I own the Buds Pro and the Buds+. This was an accurate representation of the audio difference I've experienced in them, however I still end up using my Buds+ most of the time because the fitment of the Buds Pro is just awful. I'm currently eagerly awaiting the Buds Pro 2 and hoping their smaller size solves the fitment problem.
I have all the Galaxy Budd. Saying that, I bought aftermarket wings and sleeves for the Live. Now the low end is truly full and boomy. I leave EQ on normal and these sound great.
I think there was something wrong during the recording. Listening to this on a Sony WH1000xm4, for the buds+ and buds 2 the audio is unbalanced on the left and right. The buds pro was always balanced in all the tests
I've been watching tons of reviews today and was sure I was going with the Buds2. The quality of the Pros seems superb according to this review. I've been swayed.
So, I went with the Buds2 and this video does not do them justice. It honestly sounds like the levels were slammed down in this video. I'm sure the Pros sound better but don't count out the Buds2.
I've had the lives for 2½ years now. They have been really comfortable taking into account that I had to wear them for hours on end during online classes. I am thinking of finally retiring these and buying the buds Pro
I should have seen this review before ordering my Galaxy Buds 2 😭. It is already on his way. The buds pro sound much better. A lot of reviews said that the Buds Pro do not sound well. If I saw this review earlier, I would give the Buds Pro a try. Thx for that review. It's convincing and will help people in making their choices
@@miklaaca I really like the buds 2. They fit very well in my ears. They sound pretty good to me. But I am very disappointed with the active noise canceling. Sometimes I can barely see the difference between active noise canceling On and Off.
Still a satisfied user of the Galaxy Buds + since November 2020. I've been looking at thr Galaxy Buds Pro, but still feel my Buds feel and sound great too me. I plan on using them until until they die, and I think it'll be good to wait and see what comes out next before making a decision. -btw I'm wearing my Buds Plus rn 😌
As much as I like the cheap price of the Buds+, Wireless Charging and the Battery life. I swear even the smallest amount of water killed the outer mic for ambient sound (wiping my hands after dish washing kinda wet) , sound quality really is a drop off from my regular headphones, and man knowing I got them regular price and then the new Galaxy buds line came at the same price of $160. All of those kinda ruined the fun of the plus for me. But that pro though Note: if you don't already know what buds+ sounds like, think of lofi music lol
actually I used to listen to music with the lives and they are very very great for my genre of music (Drum and Bass, Dubstep, House). With some changing in the EQ setting and Dolby Atmos turned on you can get some great results. But now I have the pros and they are definitely better.
Man, that sound track, _your favorite one_ stays in my brain all day. This is a cool test. Had to re-listen with headphones. Sadly, ear buds irritate my ears
haha, yeah, there are some good songs in this list! I really enjoy the immersive experience route for these videos. I get that about earbuds. What are you using for headphones?

Beautiful video, very informative and it definitely helped me personally to decide which one I'm going to get. Really well, nicely done, really appreciate your work! 👏
I'm one of those geeks who watches a ton of videos when purchasing something, as a result, I've watched a HUGE amount of bud pro video's. I have to say, without doubt, this is the absolute best video I've seen on them. Brilliant production and excellent comparisons. Thanks very much for a superb video!
I'd love to, but these videos take me 40-50 hours to make, lol. It was a flop for a couple months and it's now suddenly getting a ton of views, so that's interesting. I plan to make some on new products coming out rather than the old ones, so stay tuned.
ive own the galaxy buds pro for almost 1 years..no complain about that..sound great..easy to use..only the downside is the battery..dolby atmos + bass boost on the setting + some tweaks on eqfy makes sounds on galaxy buds pro amazing..
Mildly annoying that the buds+ kept getting referred to as buds 2, but other than that, I agree with the rankings, I'm still using the buds+ as my daily .
These videos take over 40 hours to make and it can be easy to lose track of everything when you're not only reviewing one product but four at once. Sorry.
I bought Onn wireless earbuds at Walmart for $40. They fit fantastically, can't fall out, treble & bass are perfectly balanced. Earbuds are good for 10 hours, but case recharges three more times so they technically run 40 hours without being plugged in. Earbuds snap into charging case magnetically. When removed from case, they automatically search for most recent paired item. Listed as 10 feet range but I can put the phone in the center point of my house and listen to music anywhere I go including the upstairs. Only when I go into the garage and shut the steel door do I lose connection. They aren't noise cancelling but they do block sound enough I can hear perfectly fine while driving with normally-annoying road noise. Totally changed driving on long trips. Simple controls on the earbuds allow for volume control, on/off, and I forgot what else.
Its interesting to learn that buds plus had better audio than buds 2 and for me the buds plus sounds better in dymamic rather than normal so I find it really interesting to learn that on the pro it actually do sound better on normal EQ Do you have a video where you compare the buds 2 pro?
I've own both buds2 and buds pro. And honestly they do sound the same to me. And the buds2 are a lot more comfortable for longer listening and they are a lot smaller and for me they stay in a lot better.
I have never had any of the galaxy buds but since i changed phone (a samsung galaxy s21 FE) i was almost forced to buy the galaxy buds and i bought the galaxy buds 2 thinking they were the best as they are the newest and I'm not that disappointed, I thought they were worse but for the price they have I could have taken the PROs. But they are pretty solid for me
I have the the buds+. Surprised they are still so good. More: if you use them while working or stuff like that, well, 5 or 6 hours are not so much. I usually use them in Dynamic while listening to music, I think it gives a little punch, except for classical music. They are a good compromise. Totally agree with th review
I own a galaxy buds live. It is pretty good sounding earphone, pretty open for me. And the only reason I love these more than the others is just that I can hear my surroundings clearly, and I do enjoy that. Although it is not that comfortable wearing for 3h+ and not the best sounding, I still love them. If I want to listen to details and get the anc, I just use my wh-1000xm4
I love the galexy buds live because of the fit and zero ear pressure you get from in ear sealed head phones. Can you do more of these with different types of ear buds
Man I hate to admit I use to be one of those people that thought. People were crazy to shell out the kinda scratch these things cost. My experience is with AirPods Pro’s and I was life changing. So I could imagine what features and uses these have. Never thought something as simple as ear buds would be such a much needed experience. Awesome video keep up the great work.
This video made me buy the Galaxy Buds Pro! I originally just had the normal bluetooth earbuds but after several reviews and this video I took a step forward to go and get one annd it did not disappoint! I have been using the Galaxy Buds Pro for a month now and I am obssessed with it. The sound quality, the fit, the seamless use across the Samsung Ecosystem made it all so worth it. The buds are not heavy (imo). It doesn't fall off either if you find the perfect tips. I love the Ambient mode tho it can be too much at times but you just switch it off whenever you want to.
how's your experience till now? how's the fit and audio quality compared to other brands as it does come expensive. I do think the audio must be extremely good as it has dual drivers by AKG but have never tried them in person.
@@ankurkashyap2262 Hi, so far so good I use it when I workout or basically wherever I go. The fit really depends on the ear tips. For my end i use different size for the left and right ear. Hey uh, so 2 months ago i went to my local store and they offered me Buds 2 and Buds Pro. With only 25 usd more, the Buds pro sound so much better. And buds pro fit better than other premium earbuds i used to own(Bose QC, Sony Wf1000xm4), thus achieve better noise isolation and it made ANC more effective. I got buds pro at 125Usd, pretty sweat deal compare to the Sony wf1000xm4 i have to resell due to fit. So if you love the Harman curve(warm-treble boost frequency), then you should get this deal. Some trivia: last night i went to a shower and accidently drop my buds to the bath. It still work great after 3 hours. I got the buds pro for pc gaming. I can't notice the latency at all, and it sound better than my old Razer blackshark v2. Probably AKG engineer know how nail it
Galaxy buds live is really underrated. I used to had these puppies in my ear all day long and no discomfort or anything worked really good for taking calls and listening to songs on low volume in public all day long until i lost those 🥲. Now i have bought Galaxy buds pro they are good but don't stay in my ear confidently.

I cannot believe that the Galaxy Buds pro sounded so good and I currently own a buds pro and I think the Buds pro are the best product for sound
It's pretty astounding. I agree!
Now this is what I call Audio Test 👏, I like that fake ears you are using, I can distinctively hears the difference in Sound.....nice!!! I love it.
Thank you!
I love how your hands are moving with rhythm on overdrive while holding the buds! Looks like its your fav (well its now in my playlist too)
lol, caught in the act.
Appreciate the use of the binaural microphone! Subscribed just because of that
I have the Buds Pro and I will say this: the sound is flawless... All types of music sounds incredible and the bass range is really impressive {along with the clarity of instruments, which is also impeccable}!
[If you have these... use the "NORMAL" EQ! Not Bass Boost or any of the others]
I'm so glad I went with the Buds Pro instead ❤, they really sound so amazing
Glad I could help!
I did have the original Buds and Buds Live. I'd say the Buds Live is very comfortable and the bass is superb for me.
This is exactly the answer I've been trying to provide for many but wanted to back it up with proof. Glad I could help! Please share it around ☺️
Glad I could help!
Buds 2 is $100-120 in India 👀
I got the buds pro fist but returned them as they hurt my ear and fell out all the time , so I bought the buds 2 and actually like them much better because they don't hurt my ear and are comfortable and I thought for me they sounded good , plus i got them for 69 dollars
That makes sense. The buds pro are pretty big for the ears. $69. Nice.
@@ThisIsTechToday love your videos , keep the videos coming !!🙂
The buds pro hurt my ears too at first but my ears adapted tro it, and it no longer hurts
Nice!
Nice!!! So glad I could be of help!
What a fantastic review.
I came into this video having NO CLUE which version I wanted and left knowing exactly which to get.
Not only did I know which ones I wanted, I can rank them all by preference based on the data you provided.
10/10 video in every aspect. Upvoting this isn't even a judgment call.
You really changed my decision, i was thinking about buying airpod pro but its too expensive and i just watched your helpful video so I decided to buy buds pro instead of airpods
Thank u soooo muchhhhhh
Oh, wow! So glad I could help!
The buds pro really sounds full all around. The bass is great. Got them recently as a gift. I really love them 😍😍
How is the fit?
@@christianmarielabrousse1376 I use the smaller buds and it fits perfectly. Does not come off my ears easily. I do have to adjust them from time to time but overall it fits my ears very well
I though I was happy enough with Buds 2, until heard those Buds Pro.
I was hung between Buds 2 and Buds Pro and leaning towards Buds 2 but after this video I ordered the Pros right away.
Haha, glad I could help!
Thank you soooo much for this stupidly high quality review, really wish every channel would do a comparison like this. Now I know I'm waiting for the pros to go on sale rather than spending money on the 2s, from other reviews I couldn't know the difference in sound would be that big
same situation here, i can afford the buds 2 , pro are a bit too expensive for me
@@NOVAPOINTYT i ordered budd pro for 90 usd
@@shubhnoorsingh7518 damnn , online ?
also how is the fit? does your ear start painting after long use?
@@NOVAPOINTYT just got it... And the ANC is the star... U can't listen anything around you even at 60% volume... I have kinda big ear so the fit is perfect for me... No pain in the ears... And i love the way they sounds... They also don't fall off during heavy work session too...
By far this is the best earbud review I have ever seen.
Congratulations!
Thanks!
This was probably the best conparison I've seen! Thank you so much.
Been looking for so long for what buds to buy and this vid really helped me make a final decision on the pros.
Thank you!
So glad I could help!
I own the Buds+ and Pro. I love the fit on the Buds+ so much more than the Pros, but the Pros sound better.
Agreed!
@This is Tech Today I don't see the design really changing, but I'd love if they brought back some sort of wingtip with the new case design.
Maybe they'll release a more fitness oriented pair? We can hope!
Nice!
i have tried both the buds 2 and the buds pro, I find this to be a very good an accurate review, but when it came to the pros, I decided to downgrade to the 2s because of the horrible design. yes they sound good, but their design and fit is their only flaw, in my opinion.
Pro fit way better probably more comfortable then my buds +
I own all 3 and buds 2 are the worst .
Same I've got pro's right now but they just dont't fit!
You're such a soulful guy, so passionate about your reviews. Earned my sub. Looking forward to more reviews.
Thank you!
I got the Galaxy Buds + pretty much when they came out and have had them for 2 years very solid earbuds ( although it doesn't have ANC I've found the seal keeps out most the noise when playing music )
I’ve listened and watched hours of RUclips videos this is by far one of the best reviews, videos, pieces of creative content I’ve ever seen. Wow!!!
The galaxy buds pro sounds way ahead when you test them side by side. Im really happy someone made this video. Plus buds pro only cost a little more than the others compared to how better the sound is among the rest
Really appreciate the review from an audio engineer, will get the buds pro with the s21 fe. Thank you!
I had +, live and pro. All grate. Still alternating between pro and live. For me live ticks most of the boxes. Comfortable - can use all day, literally 18h non stop.
15:30 😳 mistake while telling -
1st. Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro
2nd. Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus
3rd. Samsung Galaxy Buds 2
4th. Samsung Galaxy Buds Live
After the updates, I hear no significant difference from my friend's buds pro and the buds2.. well maybe it's just me
I have the exact same experience. Loving my Buds 2
Pretty happy I bought the buds plus since they still hold up but after hearing the sound quality of the pros the urge to want to buy them is huge
Seriously, the Pros are so. Dang. Good.
The fit is the common issue I hear about them. Glad the review matched your experience!
Best audio review ever! Keep going!! Usually don’t write comment but this time, I have to.
Same setup, it sounds broken
same
Be my ears! A sound representation! Thank you for the review. Always look forward to watching your reviews. Cheers
Thanks so much! Glad it was helpful!
I am still a proud owner of the Samsung Galaxy Buds+. After 2 years, still going strong 💪
Amazing video, been thinking about purchasing some new wireless headphones, but didn't know which. This made my choice much easier. Thank you.
Glad I could help!
Just raw audio, no compression.
@@xmisterblackhatx ANC could have be much better
Guess who didn't watch this before ordering the buds2, now I have fomo. The tests just makes the buds pro sound so much better....
It's so weird to hear people say that. They're overwhelmingly better sounding. Lol. Glad I could help!
@@miklaaca Your ears compensate for a lot of things. The microphone is sterile and picks up exactly as it sounds clinically.
But that pro though
Note: if you don't already know what buds+ sounds like, think of lofi music lol
Daaaaang, that sucks! I'm sorry to hear that That's not great at all. Good to know though!
actually I used to listen to music with the lives and they are very very great for my genre of music (Drum and Bass, Dubstep, House).
@@ThisIsTechToday when I purchased the Xperia 5ii it came with Sony wh1000xm3
Those have some insanely good ANC!
@@ThisIsTechToday Absolutely, especially when I'm jamming my StarTalk podcast 😂
This is why I love the Buds Live.....for me, I don't even feel them there.
The only video I've seen to properly showcase the audio differences between these buds. Excellent video
Samsung earbuds are so underrated while the sound quality is so damn good. I love my earbud pro 😍
which galaxy buds model do u own
@@suprxmefire9497 Right now I have earbud 2 claimed for free while purchasing S22+ and before i used to use bud live.

Amazing reviews I greatly appreciate the quality. Very informative and enjoyable to listen to the comparisons.
Also really love that last song :) keep it up, I'll be watching!
Beautiful video, very informative and it definitely helped me personally to decide which one I'm going to get. Really well, nicely done, really appreciate your work! 👏
Thank you!
I'm one of those geeks who watches a ton of videos when purchasing something, as a result, I've watched a HUGE amount of bud pro video's. I have to say, without doubt, this is the absolute best video I've seen on them. Brilliant production and excellent comparisons. Thanks very much for a superb video!
awesome video and probably the best comparison ive seen. wish youd do more of these comparing some of the popular brands!
I'd love to, but these videos take me 40-50 hours to make, lol. It was a flop for a couple months and it's now suddenly getting a ton of views, so that's interesting. I plan to make some on new products coming out rather than the old ones, so stay tuned.
@@ThisIsTechToday totally understand! great quality content takes time. Looking forward to seeing more!
ive own the galaxy buds pro for almost 1 years..no complain about that..sound great..easy to use..only the downside is the battery..dolby atmos + bass boost on the setting + some tweaks on eqfy makes sounds on galaxy buds pro amazing..
Its interesting to learn that buds plus had better audio than buds 2 and for me the buds plus sounds better in dymamic rather than normal so I find it really interesting to learn that on the pro it actually do sound better on normal EQ
Do you have a video where you compare the buds 2 pro?
I've own both buds2 and buds pro. And honestly they do sound the same to me. And the buds2 are a lot more comfortable for longer listening and they are a lot smaller and for me they stay in a lot better.
Is it worth it bud 2? Cuz i just grab bud 2 and still waiting from courier.
Kindly can you plz tell me that which of them have more bass ??
I have never had any of the galaxy buds but since i changed phone (a samsung galaxy s21 FE) i was almost forced to buy the galaxy buds and i bought the galaxy buds 2 thinking they were the best as they are the newest and I'm not that disappointed, I thought they were worse but for the price they have I could have taken the PROs. But they are pretty solid for me
your video made my choice so very clear, I'm Definitely buying Buds Pro.
Glad I could help!
thank you so much for this. I was confused about which ones to choose but you made it so much easier for me, I even subscribed for this. Thank you!!
Based on the production of this video I had to subscribe and thumbs up, never seen an audio video like this before.
I do like the lives cuz I don't have it sweaty in my ear thing. So I hope they do something. New with it
I love the galexy buds live because of the fit and zero ear pressure you get from in ear sealed head phones. Can you do more of these with different types of ear buds
It all depends on what kind of earbuds. Headphones are the best for this type of video because they're easier to capture the sound.
To me Galaxy Buds Pro sounded like in all together another league. Two drivers making difference very much evident.
I am watching this video wearing the buds pro and it sounds a lot better, like I'm not watching a youtube video but am listening to it of a music app
Omg the sound of the pros are just leaps ahead of all the others!
JUST AWESOME!...... I really needed this review.
For the sound quality, i can really say it's one of the best out there. I haven't really tried other earbuds but I can say that this is worth it.
@@jerasimangan thanks a lot , i am genuinely confused because these earphones do cost a lot and i don't want to waste my money on something not valueable. Thanks for responding , appreciate it 👍🏻
Hey uh, so 2 months ago i went to my local store and they offered me Buds 2 and Buds Pro.
Now i have bought Galaxy buds pro they are good but don't stay in my ear confidently.
wow the pros sound so much better than the others, would love a comparison with the airpod pros
