Install OpenSCAD On A Chromebook

3D Printing Process Overview:
1. Create 3D model with CAD software (ex. OpenSCAD)
2. Export 3D model as a .stl file (STL = STereoLithography)
3. Open .stl file in a slicer to prep model for 3D printing by making configurations based on printer and model
4. Export .gcode file (G-code = Geometric code)
5. Input .gcode file into 3D printer to print model out

OpenSCAD is a script file based graphical CAD environment. Install:
openscad
Start up OpenSCAD from Menu > Graphics > OpenSCAD:
From Welcome window, under Examples section, click any pulldown > select an example > click Open Example button
Close Console, Error-Log, and Customizer windows to make more room for 3D model preview.
Windows can be reopened from Window menu > uncheck boxes for hiding windows
Drag edges of windows to resize them.
Navigate 3D Model:
Zoom In/Out = Zoom In/Zoom Out buttons in bottom toolbar of window showing model
Rotate = Press down on mousepad with 1 finger and drag another finger on the mousepad
Pan = Press down on mousepad with 2 fingers and drag another finger on the mousepad
To see changes in the preview window after making any edits to a model:
Editor window > click Preview button (button with cube and 2 arrows)
Export 3D model as .stl file:
Editor window > click Render button (button with cube and hourglass)
Progress bar will pop up on the bottom right.
Render time may vary depending on device and model.
Editor window > click Export as STL button > navigate to desired file path, and name the file > click Save button
