3D Printing Process Overview: 1. Create 3D model with CAD software (ex. OpenSCAD) 2. Export 3D model as a .stl file (STL = STereoLithography) 3. Open .stl file in a slicer to prep model for 3D printing by making configurations based on printer and model 4. Export .gcode file (G-code = Geometric code) 5. Input .gcode file into 3D printer to print model out - Creality brand makes high value 3D printers ---------------------------------- OpenSCAD is a script file based graphical CAD environment.
