- After cycling across Finland during the coldest winter in a long time, Matilda discovered she had some chronic health issues and went back to South Finland to be with her family while she was recovering.
Peyman took care of her gear, and continued pedalling north towards Norway.

In general how many hours do you ride the bike and how frequently you take whole day rest without cycling.

We go ice-swimming in Sweden too! Sauna + ice-swimming + beer is the perfect combination. Really makes it feel that Life is flowing through you.
Have you changed your filming style? Do you use different camera setups, mounts, lenses etc. when you film while your actively moving/ walking / biking around? Any tripods? Gimbal? Thank you !!

Hello! I hope you are doing well. If I understand correctly Matilda had to stop cycling with you in the beginning of May and you didn't know if her health problems would resolve in 2 weeks or 2 months... It's now 8 months, I hope it's nothing serious and that Matilda gets well soon!! Even if she's not cycling it would be cool to see her back in the videos, if she wants to and feel well to do so... Maybe some home video of some kind. But no pressure of course! Take care and best regards
Hi, there is a chance she might join for a few weeks of cycling but she won't be cycling full time any more. She is working back in Finland with our online content 😊

Hope Matilda gets better but I still enjoyed this without her. Its your enthusiasm that is to be admired. I know others feel differently but deffo, I enjoyed this. Saying this, The Trails are little sad without Matilda's smiles. Keep going.

After I do Trans America Trip I will be cycling 🚴♀️ in Northern Scandinavia. I love 💕 winter and cold weather. I’m stuck in the house because of the pandemic. It just goes on and on because stoopid people won’t get vaccinated.soon. I’m enjoying your videos.
There is an inexpensive product Called Thermacell, under $20 from Amazon that eliminates mosquitos, flies, sand flies and all stinging insects. It’s very small and the replacement pads that are activated by the device are very inexpensive.
Finland and Lapland. After I do a Trans American trip I will be cycling 🚴♀️ in Northern Scandinavia. I love 💕 winter and cold weather.

Bike Touring is more enjoyable when accomplished seasonally. It gets and takes a toll on one's life when bike touring is done everyday for long periods of time. The human body needs rest and recoop. I bet Matilda is just over exhausted or run down from harsh weather conditions and more challenges during the winter season.

If I may answer this. It could be because they've already been and done that. This would be a return to the spot they left Africa before.
You realize, of course, that, at some point, you are going to have to come clean about what happened with Matilda. I imagine that she got home sick and was read the riot act by her parents about her lifestyle and perhaps also about the company that she keeps. ;-) Now, I am kidding here. You are obviously a nice guy. However, I cannot but suspect some kind of rift kind given the significant delay of the release of this video. I am still, bye the way, hoping to hear your insights on the Rohloff and Pinion comparison.
It's not a significant delay, Nomads Trails is actually pretty typical: a number of popular cycle-touring channels have been uploading their videos six months or a year after the events described therein. Quality editing takes time. In the meantime, on their Instagram they have long since discussed these changes with followers.
@@crculver2068 All that I know, is that it is nearly winter now again and he's talking about things that happened last winter. In addition, I am not a follower, of anything, particularly on Instagram.

I have been concerned about Matilda. I was hoping to get more of an update about how she is doing now. I hope you continue to heal and feel better. ❤️
Thank you ❤️ Not much has changed unfortunately, together with my doctors we are still trying to find the right medication to relief my symptoms. It is just a matter of patience to try different options, time will tell :)
