We are Peyman and Matilda and since 2018 we are cycling around the world for 10 YEARS, making vlog-style documentary videos about our adventures.
We have cycled from Finland to Africa, and currently we are cycling the west coast towards South Africa and from there to Kenya. After Africa we will start to cross Asia and the Americas.
This is the 4th vlog from our journey 🌍
🎥💥In this video our tour around the world continues.In Germany we are greeted by a good storm that seems never ending. We also get to meet the German wolfs, and struggle to find the last equipment we need for our upcoming adventures in Africa. Hope you enjoy of this video!

It was horrible to see perfectly edible food just thrown away in bins!
Such waste when countries have food banks that would welcome such food to distribute to families unable to eat healthily without support.
The winds you faced were horrible, and never a good tail wind!
Absolutely, throwing away food in that way is complete nonsense... Hopefully there will be some change in that soon!

I think you are doing your trip in the wrong direction, you’re always fighting headwinds. If you went in the opposite direction you would always have tailwinds!!! When you travel north in North America you will also encounter many headwinds.

Thank you, yes we did have some bad winds at times 😅 But the Sahara is the best to cross from north to south, otherwise it is almost impossible. From what I have heard it is best to cross the Americas from north to south, wind-wise? We will figure that out before we choose our direction 😁

Haha, fantastic 😁 On the other hand, I think we have been in almost every Decathlon 😅😅 (at least on our route. But still I would guess we hold some kind of record)

Hey Matilda and Peyman, what a great trip and great Videos. In this summer I cycled from Germany to the NorthKap in Norway 4.800km in 50 days. It was also great. And I use the same Bike, the VSF 400 without any problems. I wish you all the best for the rest of your journey. Thanks a lot for the videos. Andreas

I've read dumpster diving is illegal and punishable in Germany. Is it right??
Really enjoying your videos.u are the lucky people doing what you wabt to do.
A wonderful blog and you are both very inspirational, I will follow you round the world. The only thing that makes me depressed is the amount of food that is just thrown away in the dumpsters. Obviously you make good use of it and good for you, someone should. But I find it sad that there are so many hungry people in the world and yet food is treated like waste.
Supermarkets should be forbidden to throw good food away in dumpsters. They should put the food on shelves outside so that people can help themselves. It's a question of hygiene and respect.

Not as easy as Scandinavia, but the dumpsters that are open are amazing 😍😍
You guys are awesome, I when I watched this video last was very happy you find that good food, looking back i still am but I must say its terrible that this would be going to the dump ,you would think it could have been given to organisations feeding the poor not wasted. Also try handlebar muffs,they help a lot with warmth and keeps your gloves dryer for longer.

Hi, greetings from South America, I just started to watch all trip from the beginning. This bridge is like a Mexican drama TV show, infinite jajajajaj, I hope you'll arrive here because I'm warmshower member and I haven't met people from Finland. It's incredible how people over there trow tons of fresh food and in my country, thousands of people are suffering hungry. Hugs and cheers for your trip.

Your videos are inspiring .There are many cycling Routes in Bavaria Germany which are not that popular with tourists but the locals enjoy them a lot .As shown in your videos ...the cycle rides in Germany are very windy which I realized from my short cycling trips in Bavaria .As an Indian Cyclist in Europe ,I am also exploring the small pleasures in simplicity when going around in a bicycle .,🏞️🚴🚴🚴🥀🌷🌹🇮🇳🇩🇪🇮🇳🇩🇪🇮🇳

Didn't need to buy a chain scale.. to check it.
Northern Germany: Rain, heavy winds and you can eat directly from the dumpster. You guys eat better from dumpsters than we do in Silicon Valley at all. Only Millionaires can afford such good food here. Awesome.
