I remember building the Tamiya Lotus 78 back in the 1980s. It was a really great model. I don't know how the latest incarnation of the kit compares with th eone i built. I no longer have the model but I remember the working steering.

What is missing are the JPS decals. Not excusable really as you can still buy them from elsewhere so just Tamiya being snowflakey. (And they cost a pretty penny).

Ebay $179NZ which is 90 Quid so there is a saving to be had.

agreed a shame, but I guess as some kit are sold to kids they have to be carful.
