I really like that they made Santa a very genuine person in this instead of doing what literally every other parody does and making him bad. Instead of Santa being the one to change it's the world that has changed. It's a very interesting portrayal of corporatism and greed corrupting what starts out as something genuinely good. Also people taking over something that someone else built and corrupting it is an extremely realistic story.
