    食過澳牛幾次,伙記哥哥好快手,但食得慢佢哋唔會趕人走,不過咁多人排隊,唔好意思慢慢食,自然逼自己食快啲。壓力來源大部分係自己及店內氣氛。😂

      Yes, me too, similar experience. I am a very slow eater too. They never 趕我走. Just 唔好意思慢慢食,finish eating and leave to let the next one in the queue to come into the restaurant. Their 炒蛋 is excellent. Faye and Stevo ordered the right type of egg.

      The waiter 哥哥s were very nice to my family with young kids. They offered us a seat asap. They were very gentle with us, very polite.

    其實澳牛從不催你,不趕人走又唔會你未食晒就收你嘢,我食得快係唔想同人搭枱,試過同外地朋友佔一枱慢慢食都可以。只係有時客人落單太慢佢地會叫你諗清楚先,我落單五個字,牛意煎蛋多,腿通炒蛋包,凳未坐已叫咗,快鬥快,佢地一聽就知你熟晒,都唔知幾好笑容。

    Faye & Stevo: 我以前做過 specialty chemical 公司, 有國內鷄農客戶會買我們嘅food grade colourant (sunset yellow) 溝極少量落去飼料餵鷄, 咁樣啲鷄皮就會呈現黃色, 仲有生啲蛋出嚟個蛋黃都係金黃澄澄咁樣㗎喇!

      Tap Hei Hung, you are so correct that Mr. & Mrs. Stevo are so funny and humorous 😂!!!!! That restaurant is so busy, and the turnover is 19 minutes!!!!!! They mentioned that the restaurant is famous which is why they are so busy. So, it is Not necessary to give them more advertisement by eating there, and doing a video on them!!!!!! They don’t need the support since they are already so well known!!!!! There are tons of great restaurants in Hong Kong so they have many choices. I get it that it is about the Chinese New Year 🧧!!!!! So, they wanted to make a funny video of a famous restaurant for the first meal of the day breakfast!!!!!!! I am a poor person who do not get the opportunity to eat super awesome food often like the wealthy people can eat super delicious gourmet food everyday!!!!!! So, I always think of the unique super gourmet food that is awesome, and videos should be done on the special and awesome gourmet food 🤩🤪!!

    土雞有D 品種叫黃油雞, eg.嘉美雞,(嘉道理農場), 本身浸熟後,雞皮色黃. 肉質軟滑有雞味. 油汁留在肉內.

    因為用咗三黃雞做白切鷄。三黃雞有腳黃,嘴黃,毛黃,皮黄等特徵。如果不是三黄鷄,可能用咗姜黃粉塗抹。

    The breed of chicken in Asia is usually the ginger feather variety, whereas outside (north) Asia, it is usually the white feather variety. And the white feather breed are the white skin chicken. There is a post WWII (long) story about the white feather chicken variety, and it came about from an American chicken farmer competition to increase chicken production to meet increasing demands due to the “baby boomers”, and rising population. The objective of the competition was to yield a chicken, using the least amount of chicken feed and the shortest growth duration to get a chook to the required market weight.
    Hence the white skin chicken lacks in natural flavours and the flesh is soft like tofu.

    In Hong Kong the chicken has brown fathers eggs are brown. In the west chicken has white fathers. Eggs are white. It’s a different breed of chicken. The HK yellow chicken is called 黃油雞 they have more chicken flavor. Similar to Pasture-raised chicken in the west

      Actually there are different colors of eggs from white, tint, brown, and even blue. The main reason you can see a lot of white eggs in the west cos customers like white eggs more. In modern farming system, farmers tend to produce the chickens their target customers want. And they chose different breeds to form hybrid birds that are high grow rate, fast mature and disease resistant. But western people wants lean meat more than eastern people. Eastern people tends to like the chickens with flavor. So, the reason why they have different colors is the breed the chickens are. And most of the commercial chickens (both East and West) are fed by pellets even 黃油雞 (to make sure the chickens can have enough fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals and even some medicine to prevent sickness)
      Free range chickens tend to have lean carcasses, stronger flavor but late mature. Therefore, the price is about 3 to 4 times higher than the housed chickens in the UK.

      @@MeiinUK I like the chickens from the East too. Unfortunately it is not possible to import the chicken breeds like Kamei嘉美雞 or other breeds to the UK nowadays. You can find Silkie竹絲雞 in the UK as a show bird and they are belonged to rare breed. I think the UK government does a lot to safeguard the foods than HK. Also, please remember that the term ‘free range’ doesn’t equal to ‘organic’ Ideally, Range birds are grown on the green pasture in daytime and kept in house at night. The birds can live with their natural habitat for the rest of their lives (which is more humane than intensive farming practice) but not all the farmers treat free range birds like this. They only follow the minimal rules of the definition of Free Range.
      Back to the taste or flavor of the chickens, as I mentioned above, western people like leaner meat so they crossbred the chickens and produced some hybrid birds for meat (broiler) and some for laying eggs. (layer can lay about 300 eggs in the first year and reduce laying eggs in the second year so the farmers will send the birds to slaughter) But HK people chose the flavor of the chicken as their priority so the breeders crossbred some chickens with stronger flavor.
      In conclusion, all the farming systems are based on the market. Farmers only produce the most cost effective and easy to sell products. If you want, you may keep some backyard chickens in the UK for eggs and meat. But the most important point is you are willing to kill your birds for a tastier meat.

      Indeed, you are correct. A famous name does not mean it is good!!!! You says the name is not worth the money. That means it is expensive. Breakfast items are usually not that expensive though. It could be they charge more money because of their famous name!!!!!! The famous restaurant is so busy that they took away Faye’s plate as soon as she finished eating her last bit of food is ridiculous 👎!!!!!! I would not want to eat in a restaurant that kick you out fast 😡!!!!!!

    呢間祇能叫做快餐店,好唔好食,見人見智,湯加D乜,蛋加D乜,自己煮都有此效果,屯門上水都有好多間,我較愛去上水食,新界人愛悠閑享受,唔鍾意比人當豬仔咁趕.不過朋友去過澳牛一次,就話一次咁多啦.

    the reason why steamed chicken is so yellowish is because turmeric powder (blended in oil) is rubbed onto the skin to make the end product stained yellow which is more enticing

      That’s just the recipe of Hainan chicken. The chicken species in Hong Kong or Asia are different. I think one of the popular one is called 三黃雞。I never see a white chicken when I lived in HK.

    啲雞有時會掃少少食用色素上去。我唔係話香港啲雞一定會,但有時如果見到啲黃色太深色,咁係有可能加咗少少食用色素。黄栀子或者姜黄粉。
