  • Had a few logs to run through the Japa 365+ Pro Firewood Processor and wanted to see if making an adjustment will help with something I've noticed when bringing logs in to be processed.

    You make the running of the JAPA 365 PRO so easy. Being able to go mobile with it is a great feature, but all the work it does in just a small foot print is incredible.

    Nice machine, you did a good job with representing….. I not quite sold on the in feed and the blade motor hp. Again, I’m watching thru a camera and the angle may be misleading. What was the pallet for under the conveyor? I’m not a critic but if we see maybe Japa can give answers or use for future builds.👍🏻👏🏻

    I do the same thing with the cookies. Oak is used for smoking and the other stuff, I give to my son for his patio fireplace. I even save some chips to make fire starters. Waste Not, Want Not?

      Hahaha...yeah I still think the big X factor is the operator. I actually found something out that what I did wasn't really needed and there's something else I should've adjusted to help with this...lol...you'll see soon.

    Looks like there is lots of adjustment on the spring so if it ever gets weak you can tighten it. Nice machine!! 👍

      @Back40Firewood  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah there's a good amount of holes to hook into for increased tension. I'm just not sure if now maybe I don't have enough tension...lol.

      It did seem to help, however I think there is another adjustment I should've made that would help more with the logs going in....you'll see in upcoming vid.

    Great Video Dan. Love the way you can change the Splitting Wedge from a Four Point to a Six Point. Yes the Smaller Pieces are great to be Bagged and Sold for Smoker Wood, and Fire Pit Wood. I am going to look at a Few Machines myself by going into the Web. On the Machines they offer. I am now looking myself of Either 1 of them or a Wood Splitter of at Least 25ton. Or more. Just going to get Some Prices for now. What would you Recommend for a Regular Log Splitter? Thank You Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg, Dan.

      Not sure if you are looking at a commercial grade or a homeowner model log splitter. They all are pretty comparable nowadays, you just need to see in person so you can get a feel for how high the splitting beam is and stuff like that. Then just find one that fits your needs, with most ya can't go wrong.

    It’s nice when there’s a place for all the wood, no waste. Make money from it or use it yourself 😍

    It appears you handle to wood way too much using the JAPA than you do with the Wolf Ridge - the pieces need to be really straight, or you have to push them in - just an observation. Stay safe.

      I was informed that what I did wasn't really needed and that there's something else I should've adjusted instead...lol...so will do that and see how it goes.

    We pass everything through the processor into mesh stacking crates. Leave them under cover for a couple of years & then burn the lot in our multifuel stoves - Big Small Fat or Thin they all add heat.

      Yes indeed....that's the one thing that doesn't matter with size, it all burns. 😀👍🍻
