You are so fortunate to have a good Cantonese chef at home! I didn't eat such food in a long time. Watching it bring back so much memories. Thanks for posting.
Many of the vegetable/meat dishes on this channel use a similar cooking procedure but have subtle differences in flavor profile. I want to try them all!
Thank you so much for sharing. Made this recipe today (didn't add corn starch to pork as video didn't say so) and it tastes really good! Really appreciate your videos. Do you have one for black bean recipes??
De trance Yes, you are right, I made a mistake. It should be Sugar + Corn starch + Light Soy sauce. The video is revised accordingly. Thank you very much!
late response, but salt should be in the water that you boil the green beans in, because this allows the salt to penetrate into the beans. If you salt at the end, or near the end f the cooking process, instead of salting in the beginning (in the boiling water), you end up with either a dish with sauce that is not salty enouhg for the beans, or a dish where the sauce is too salty, and the beans too bland, but all together it is the "correct saltiness". In order to fix that, you salt the beans early on and discard the boiling water.

I have made this recipe today and it turned out very good. Thanks for sharing your recipes. God bless you real good.
What does the cornstarch and water do? More flavor? Texture?
As a thickener, so that the gravy can cling onto the ingredients.

why the string bean juicy must be not use when the string bean move to pan?
EXO addict As some salt is added when stir-fry the string bean, the juice of string bean may cause the dish too salty. :)
letscookchinesefood com thanks so much for the explaining^^ aa
Can I not add in the salt then? Cos I thought the juice has the veggie flavour and maybe some nutrients :)

😍
The portions on the film don’t match the recipe.
Not informative at all.....”a little bit of bla bla bla...... put seasoning in.....” Please do not waste our time!!!
Not sure y but I find this preparation n cooking like rather unhygienic
Try this recipe with your better way! :)
How so? I’m new to cooking, would like to know your thoughts!
