The drum intro to Song for the Dead by Queens of the Stoneage, which Dave played on, is an homage to the intro to Slip it In. It blew my mind when I found out that Dave has so much punk and hardcore influence in his music

One of my fa favorite bands of all time! I was born in 77, but decendents became my first favorite band when i was 12.
Introduced to me from a fellow skater friend from Saratoga who moved to my town.
Changed the course of my life odly. Greatful for that!
Otherwise i might have been stuck on guido freestyle music for the rest of my life 😂
