16.9 km/l is very low for this kind of a car especially when 90% of the drive was on highway. Not impressed. Suzuki or Kia cars could easily give 20+ on this stretch.
Deepak do keep it mind that car was in bumper to bumper traffic for 70 KMs in Lucknow. Yes... I agree that Tata can never achieve fuel efficiency of Maruti/Hyundai/Kia and at the same time Marutin/Hyundai/Kia can never achieve safety of Tata/Mahindra/Skoda.

i drove my tiago for 200 kms+ with bumper to bumper city drive as well for 20 kms and i got 21.89 kmpl exactly

i cruised around 70-90 km/h most of the time with a very light foot

A very bad example displayed by the driver seat person. Using mobile while driving. Don't put these kinds of videos.
