I've been filming little snippets of this process for you for MONTHS! I'm so happy I can finally share this with youuuu.

A tour, shopping trips for all the goodness the new home needs, hauls and of course getting dirty smashing walls and painting. In that order.
I was so stressed out watching this... I've been wondering what was taking so long! I couldn't be you in that chain of buyers/sellers... and that solicitor would hear some choice words from me! BUT... I'm soooooooooooooo excited 😁 for the empty home 🏡 tour!!!!!
Wow congratulations guys, I felt all that emotion, I exchanged and completed on the same day and I was in tears up until 3:20pm not knowing if my furniture was going to have to go into storage, and where my pets were going to spend the night, so stressful, I got my keys about 3:25pm and we were still unloading in the dark.

Well done guys! Now you can finally breathe a sigh of relief and start to enjoy your lovely new home. Wishing you lots of happiness in your new home.

Congratulations on your new home. What an ordeal for you! Tomorrow is the anniversary of my daughter buying her first property. She exchanged and completed (after 10 months of complications) at 5pm on the last day of her mortgage extension. Then the agents said they didn’t have the keys and she finally got them the next day. Thankfully she wasn’t moving in that day. I can’t believe that in 2022 there isn’t a better way of doing things in England. I’m looking forward to your next update.
We move a lot, i was nearly crying for you wen you said everyone else moved into their house except u, it's very stressful, hope all ok now x
Chains like that are a nightmare.. So many variables.. Delighted it worked out.

We’d gone to best and final on a house we really loved and heard back that same day we hadn’t got it. 40 viewings, 8 best and final, we’ve decided to wait and see what happens in the market. I hope one day we get our first home. Meanwhile I’ll be living vicariously through you and enjoying the reno.
What a nightmare, but so glad it worked out in the end. I thought our move was stressful enough in the summer, but yours was in a whole different league! 😉

I know exactly what you are going through we had the same thing happen with us last year. Our home sold and we were out and didn’t get the keys for two more days we stayed with my other daughter and the moving truck sat full at the old house. When we got the keys we literally had to run and move but it was fine we were just glad that it was finally done.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

It's so rare to be able to feel every single emotion through a screen but I did! You were right Shade, our process has been so similar, even though we haven't been in a big chain (we are no-mortgage buyers, buying a probate property, and our buyers are mortgaging but are in rental) so I was hoping we'd avoid all the stress (nope!)! We were also held up for about 6 weeks waiting for the contract pack to come back which had a massive knock-on effect. Thankfully all our searches and enquiries are back now, just waiting on my solicitor to come back on those. I can't believe how much money we pay people to make this process easy and 'stress free' when we end up doing all of the running around with everything! I'm still in the 'anxious knot' phase. So glad you are in and hopefully feeling settled xx
Oh babe!! I feel for you so much right now I know exactly how you feel! My only consolation is that when this is complete you will instantly feel relief. But it’s so true, paying so much money to get mediocre service it’s so frustrating!! I’m crossing everything for you that’s it’s smooth sailing from here on out 🫶🏽

Congratulations Shade! Absolutely get you saying you have to be persistent in the process. We moved on 13 October and I had to make a complaint about my conveyancer for them to hurry up and do their job! Luckily I was in contact with my buyer directly because I sold a shared ownership house and originally showed them round. And we got updates from each other and we were both constantly on the phone. I don’t think I could have pushed it as quickly otherwise! We exchanged the day before completion and also were only a chain of 3 and that was stressful enough, poor you with 6!! Anyway, well done! I vowed not to move for at least another 10 years. 🤣I can’t wait to see some transformations. 😊
Oh the stress! Most of it so unnecessary. Your moved was quite complicated, never known so many in a chain, but to be honest, just sold, and the systems are still the same as when we bought a house over 35 years ago - ridiculous! Everything is on line, can be done with the press of a button etc - ok that's probably the way it should be but not just yet...... hmm x So pleased you've moved in to your new home, lots of love, luck and happiness xxx

The amount of buyers/sellers in the chain is horrendous, its bad enough with 3 in it. My 2 girls moved out a few years ago into their own homes, and I asked my husband if he thinks we should "downsize", I cannot repeat what he said and after watching this video , Im glad I never talked him round. I wish you both good health and happiness in your new home.

Congratulations 😊, I know what you have been through! We are going through the same, it is awful! Its been since April and it still continues. Its been dragging and then nothing happens and tonight we have just heard our seller is threatening to pull out as he is refusing to supply a management pack which he has to pay for! Two steps forward ten steps back it seems! 😕

Omg Shade, I got PTSD watching that. EXACT same thing happened us this year. Our owners lived in Canada and it was my solicitor who held everything up. We were also homeless for a night. The tears the stress, the waiting was hell but 8 month's in I can say it was worth every minute of it. Hope you both are as happy in your new home as we are in ours. lmfaooooo 10:55 killed me. I can't imagine being in a chain of 6 wtf!! When we bought our house the people buying our place gave notice to their jobs before we even exchanged!! They forced us to have to move out for 2 months before our new build was finished and handed over for us. And they were new buyers so it was a very small chain and still super stressful. I honestly dread having to sell again lol.
I found out our solicitor's were lying to us and when I called them up to confront them about it they told me that I needed to be realistic and I lost it lmfao. I'll show u what realistic is!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! You're so lucky your process was so quick albeit with some ups and downs but we completed/moved into our new house last Friday after our offer was accepted in April! Our sellers solicitors were absolutely awful too. almost 7 months it took us but we're so relieved to be in as I'm sure you are.

Congratulations to you both 🎉 you went thru such an emotional road. I was thinking our sale/buy was stressful as takes only 7 months to complete with first time buyer (who purchased our house) and we were buying brand new home. We were so disappointed with solicitors on both sides that b4 end of it we made formal complaint and from then everything speeded up. Well done for you, it wasn’t easy but it’s done now and I can’t wait for new videos with decor and renovation contest ❤
